Back at Sato's command ship Kanan, Ezra, and Zeb made their way to the planning room "we got the supplies, but we were fortunate to get away. The Empire's making our travels around the Outer Rim tougher all the time." Kanan explained placing his hands on the holo projector "yes. We need a new hyperspace route in and out if the Lothal sector." Sato said, Sabine stepped forward I may have a perfect shortcut. The system of Concord Dawn." She said pressing on the table showing off the system "it's a Mandalorian colony and not an Imperial territory yet." She explained making the hunter raise a brow "why not? They've grabbed up just about every other place." Ezra added Rex looked to the hunter "Concord Dawn is known for its elite warriors. They were brought in to train clones back in the war. Bet even the empire thinks twice about a fight with them." Rex explained making the hunter shrug "sounds like the Iron Lords during the Dark age." Sam added popping out of her pocket dimension over the hunter's shoulder "the question is, who are they loyal to? The empire does occupy their home world of Mandalore. So imperial influence could be a factor." Sato added looking down at the table "years before the Clone Wars broke out. Mandalorians were already at war with each other. This group called themselves the Protectors. They like to make up their own rules." Sabine informed "sounds familiar/ like the warlords." Hera and Sam said at the same time making the hunter chuckle "so we go in with strength, scout the system for defenses to see what we're up against." Sato said with a nod "or why not try diplomacy? Ask permission to use their system as a shortcut." Kanan explained "Diplomacy? Warriors like these only understand strength." Sato pointed out "he's got a point." Sabine said with a shrug "but we shouldn't make an enemy if we don't need to. If we get permission to fly through their space, the next step could be recruitment. To grow the rebellion, we need friends like these Mandalorians. We could have our route and a powerful ally as well." Hera explained with a determined look "very well Captain Syndulla. The mission is yours." Sato said "okay if we tag along?" Ezra asked motioning to Sabine and Sam "was hoping you asked." Hera said as Sam dematerialized and the hunter and Mando followed the pilot of The Ghost.

Ezra was piloting The Radiant as the others piloted strange space crafts "so, that's Concord Dawn. Sure looks like it's been through a war." Hera stated Sabine chuckled "this system has endured more than a hundred wars. My people don't need a reason to pick a fight." Sabine said making the hunter chuckle "something funny Ezra?" She asked annoyed "you should see Earth, would surprise you there have been hundreds of thousands of wars, we are the masters at it you know, yet the planet looked pristine, well until the darkness arrived and wiped us out, but even then, Earthlings are still on top." The hunter explained making making the Mandalorian scoff "technically you shouldn't be using we you were born on Lothal, Lothrat." She teased making the hunter shrug "touchè." The hunter stated "Phoenix Squadron, we have visitors." Hera stated as ships flew infront of them "attention, unregistered ships. This is Fenn Rau, Protector of Concord Dawn." The man stated making the hunter roll his eyes he sounded like a pretentious Warlock "you are trespassing identify yourselves." Fenn said over their comm "we come in peace, Protector." Hera said making the guy scoff "peace? That's not a word I hear often. State your mission." Fenn ordered "we request safe passage through your system." Hera explained "well that depends, who is asking?" Fenn asked "those who would stand with Concord Dawn against the empire." Hera said "so you're the rebels I've heard about. How unfortunate for you." Fenn said making the hunter paranoid for "you haven't heard what we have to say." Hera explained "I don't need to. Out here I act in the name of the Empire." Fenn said moving his ship behind them "hold on, Protector." Hera said in panic as he fired on one of the members of their team "I'm hit!" The man yelled as his fighter got shot down into a spiral "Hera, what do we do? What do we do?" Sabine asked while the Mandalorians fired at them on hit the Radiant making the hunter groan "hey asshole hit my ship again and I'm going to kick your knee in!" The hunter yelled "I don't think they're interested in talking, Hera." Sabine said "Phoenix Squadron, take evasive action." Hera ordered as the rest of the team made a quick turns barrel rolls except for Ezra who after being hit again launched himself out of the Radiant letting the autopilot take the ship to hyperspace the hunter waited for the ship fly over him using his strand grapple to pull himself onto the ship hanging onto the hatch "hey bastard how you doing?" He asked kicking the hatch putting a crack in the glass looking back up and seeing Fenn shooting at another member of the hunter's team making them fall into a spiral to the planet "Spectre 5 and 6, Phoenix 2, get out now!" Hera ordered there's too much fire. Can't get an opening." Phoenix 2 said "my ship is gone Hera I sent it away can't risk my ship being grounded." Ezra said stomping on the glass again making a bigger crack the Mandalorian looked up in panic not prepared for the hunter's crazy action "he's right. If we attempt to jump, we'll be cut to pieces." Sabine said as the hunter broke a hole into the glass making the man try and shake him off "go to heading 257. I'll get your opening." Hera stated "what about you." Ezra and Sabine said in unison "just follow orders!" Hera ordered "roger that." Sabine said peeling off to the heading Ezra used his strand to land on her fighter hanging on tight "Hera where's that opening?" Sabine asked as Hera appeared behind the fighters and fired blowing up one "coordinates set. Thanks, Phoenix Leader." The man said jumping to hyperspace "get going Sabine!" Hera shouted "not without you." Sabine said "just go! I'll be right behind you two." Hera said as a Mandalorian fighter flew infront of the two he began firing on of the shots hit the hunter knocking him off her fighter "Ezra!" Sabine shouted in panic "gah Son of a- just go Sabine!" Ezra shouted as air began to leak from his arm sleeve Sam tried repairing the damage as he he watched Sabine jump to hyperspace then an explosion "Hera!" Ezra shouted watching her ship getting hit "Ezra your oxygen supply is going down rapidly stay still so I can fix it!" Sam shouted as he floated down to the planet seeing Hera's ship damaged made him worried he grappled onto her ship not realizing he was leaving Sam behind "Ezra!" She shouted as the ship entered hyperspace "Sam!" He shouted back arm out he was panicking now "this isn't good." The hunter said as he pulled a duskfield grenade throwing it in the ship making a bubble that kept the oxygen i he began to lose conciseness trying to salvage what little strength he had left his vision went darker and darker before he passed out.
