Hera's Heroes

Ezra sat in the turret of The Ghost firing at the empire which were attacking Hera's father and one of his freedom fighters as they passed he managed to take out the giant rectangular vehicle that they used he gave a pew noise as he blasted it. The hunter gave a smirk as he jumped out of the seat and headed towards the Cargohold noticing a scout trooper "you didn't think that through, did you?" Zeb asked "uh..." the scout said before Zeb looked up to the hunter "hey, kid, you got this outfit?" The lasat asked knowing the hunter had a thing for collecting imperial armor for his transmog the hunter leaned over the railing "not the helmet. Also I'm like forty something." Ezra responded making the giant roll his eyes "the kid want's your helmet sorry." Zeb said ignoring the hunter and punching the scout trooper as The Ghost broke orbit.

A little later

Now in the lounge the crew stood or in Ezra and Sabine's case sat next to each other as Hera's father paced nearby as Hera entered the two embraced in a hug "you arrived just in time. Thank you for making this supply run." Her father said as Hera smiled disengaging the hug "it wasn't easy getting past that imperial blockade." She said "then I wish I had better news. The imperials now occupy the entire Tann province." Cham said causing Hera and Kanan to gasp and Chopper to chirp "what's the Tann province?" Ezra asked with curious tilt to his head "it's where Hera grew up." Kanan answered as Hera looked to Cham "what happened, father?" The pilot asked "I underestimated the commander, Captain Slavin. His previous attacks were clumsy, but this one was swift, precise, unlike him. He's made our home his headquarters." Her father explained taking a seat "I'm afraid I couldn't save anything when I escaped." He continued with a sad look "not even the Kalikori?" Hera asked making Sam pop out "what's a Kalikori?" Sam asked adding the term to her database "A totem passed down the line of a Twi'lek family. It honors all who come before." Numa explained "each parent adds to the artwork to include themselves in the legacy." Gobi added making Sabine nod "family history as living art." Sabine said noticing how important it was "Hera would have inherited our family's Kalikori." Cham explained sadly "and I still will. Their heirloom was important to my mother. And I'm not ready to give it up yet." She said determined to get it back "Govi, Numa, and I are coming with you." Her father said as the two mentioned stood up Sabine gave a nod as she stood "we'll help too." The mando added making the pilot shake her head "this wasn't meant to be a personal mission. I can't let you take this risk with me." Hera said rubbing her neck "you'd do it for us." Kanan said stepping forward "because we owe you." Zeb added Ezra stood to his feet "besides the mission changed they always do." He said with a smile before he dawned his helmet again "come, daughter. I'll brief you on Captain Slavin's defenses." Cham said making Hera give a smile.

Timeskip

The Ghost flew over the planet as inside they came up with a plan "Alright, Chop, you'll sneak in with me here. The rest of you will work on a diversion to draw the troops away." Hera explained "done. But there are a few of our people left in the Tann province. Getting you in unnoticed won't be easy." Cham said as the holographic map disappeared and Ezra walked in armor now transmoged to a scout trooper's outfit "they might notice her, but they won't recognize me." Ezra said smirking beneath the scout trooper's helmet.

A little later

A group of troopers made their way through a canyon near the province the crew was moving to "here comes the patrol." Zeb notified "you two wait here until we draw them away. Then you can slip by." Kanan said Ezra gave a nod as Zeb gave the signal to Cham who gave the signal to Numa the Twi'lek flashed a light show she and Sabine were ready the attack begin with Cham and Gobi moving forward on their mounts taking out troopers with small arms fire then an explosion that destroyed a transport and rocked a walker, lastly Zeb and Kanan ran out finalizing the attack by getting on the two free mounts as the troopers gave chase the hunter looked back to Hera who gave a nod speeding past the walker towards their destination while the convoy led them away.
