The sun rose on Lothal as Kanan knelt in a meditation position just kind of waiting and observing footsteps were coming up on him "you know they already left to get the hyperdrive. Figured you'd go." Hera said making the man turn his head to the voice "I wanted to stay." He said making Hera smile slightly Kanan gave a chuckle "it's funny, no matter what happens, we always end up back here on Lothal." The blind Jedi said as Hera got closer lowering herself next to meditating man "well, Ezra has a strong connection to this place. It was his birth home." She explained but Kanan shook his head "before we knew Ezra, we were drawn here." He pointed out "the mission was here." Hera said to the man "there were a lot of missions in a lot of places, but we kept coming back." Kanan elaborated making Hera raise a brow "are you saying we were meant to come here? Maybe to meet Ezra?" She asked Kanan gave it thought "I don't know, something like that. But there's more to it. Ezra said he came here from a slipspace failure with some weird energy, then a day later he meets up with us, seems like more of a coincidence than anything else." The blind Jedi said as Hera looked to him then the open land infront of them.

Scene change

Storm troopers littered the area two scout troopers neared a rock formation were one took the face cover setting it up revealing the hunter "hurry up." Ezra said looking to a nearby hidden Zeb who came out of his cover with an L-cart "where's the hyperdrive?" The lasat asked making the hunter shrug "it's over here somewhere. Jai, keep watch." Ezra said looking back to his ally "over here somewhere? All these rocks look the same." Zeb complained looking to the hunter who walked towards him "it was dark, and we just crashed. I didn't have time to make a map." He said before hearing some cat noises he looked to the source seeing a white loth-cat "hey, when in doubt, follow the loth-cat." Ezra said with a smirk after seeing the rock the cat creature was on "your kidding right?" Zeb asked as the hunter turned with a serious face making a come here motion the two moved the lose rock exposing the hyperdrive "you and your loth-cats." Zeb said looking to the hunter who shrugged "hey they're helpful and cute, that reminds me I should keep one." Ezra joked making Sam pop out "and what would you feed it?" The little light asked making the hunter shrug as he helped lift the hyperdrive "hey I'm just saying." Ezra said as a ship flew over head the two looked to it seeing as it landed before helping out with the hyperdrive moving it towards the L-cart "uh Ezra? We have a problem." Jai informed the hunter came towards looking in the distance as a humanoid creature ran towards them on all fours "what is that?" Ezra asked "I don't know, and I don't think I wanna know." Jai said as the hunter put his helmet on "we'll draw them away. You get the hyperdrive out of here." Ezra said to Zeb whilst walking towards the creature Jai followed the hunter "just let me blast it." Jai said slightly fearful "it's okay. I can get us out of this." Ezra said as the man stopped a few meters in front of the disguised hunter he sniffed the air a few times "LS-3226 and LS 3227 reporting." He said as the man got closer aggressively sniffing the air making the hunter step back "we've checked out this area and found nothing. Should we continue our search?" The hunter asked taking another step back as Jai readied hid blaster pistol "no." The man said turning before swinging at the hunter who gambler's dodged to his left pulling out a knife he began a close quarters fight with the creature who dodged the first strike then using his mobility tossed the hunter to the ground holding him there with his arm like feet. Jai aimed his blaster firing towards the two missing the man and striking the hunter the strike was luckily absorbed by the armor it broke with a red shimmer "don't shoot me! Shoot him! Blast it!" Ezra said as the creature turned to the man "I'm trying, I'm trying!" Jai said firing at the creature before it jumped towards the disguised rebel, Jai gave out a yelp waiting for a strike that never came for Ezra used the force pushing the creature into a nearby mountain. The man grunted then coughed as he struggled to his feet looking to the hunter "Jedi." He said narrowing his eyes "you would be wrong friend." Ezra said now standing with his hand on his belt next to Last Word as transports neared "it's Bridger. Blast him." Pryce said making the hunter quickdraw his saber blocking strikes "when you guys going to learn." He said jumping on the back of the speeder Jai ran to the man tried jumping to catch them but fell short as the speeder took off "are they following us?" Jai asked making the hunter look back "no, they are actually running away. What do you think?!" Ezra yelled sarcastically as they sped through the desert the hunter readied his cannon firing shots to make the ones behind them swerve "how many of them are back there?" His ally asked "more than enough to make me annoyed. Let's try to lose them in there!" Ezra said pointing to a trench which they dropped in the man dropped along them he grabbed at his staff making Ezra holster his Last Word in exchange for his Murasama which he quickly drew to block a strike "hey bud, can't this thing go faster? I can run faster than this!" The hunter exaggerated loudly "hold him there, just hold him there!" Jai ordered the man looked ahead before swerving out of the trench maneuvering himself behind the two firing off a projectile onto the speeder which made some faint beeps not alerting the hunter who didn't hear it. A scout trooper began firing at the two making them bob and weave through a formation of mountains the pursuing force followed them "up ahead! Go through there!" Ezra ordered as he readied a little concoction him and Sabine made sticking a detonator with a gunpowder charge looking to a leaning boulder he smiled tossing it above before unholstering Last Word with his left hand then quickly aiming, and then firing at the modified tnt like bomb. It blew up with a large puff of smoke and debris, the leaning boulder fell cutting the scout troopers off along with killing one Ezra looked above seeing the man still chasing them he aimed firing at the speeder striking it making it light on fire. The man took notice jumping to a nearby rock formation stopping himself there "too slow buddy, maybe next time." The hunter teased giving a two finger salute as they sped off.
