(A/n We are nearing the end of this story)

The hunter knelt surrounded by plains it had been a while since Hera got off world to run a mission with Kallus and Rex leaving Ezra, Zeb, Chopper, and Sabine on Lothal, the hunter meditated on everything that happened these last few years the traveler helping him in his calmness. Then a voice calling to him "Ezra... you okay?" The voice of Sabine asked putting a hand on his shoulder he smiled putting one of his on her hand "yeah, but I'm getting this feeling. That something's changed. Or rather something is happening." He said "what's wrong?" She asked with a curious tilt to her head "I have to talk to Hera." He said as he gave her a stern look she nodded and the two made their way back to the base.

The two hunters walked holding each other's hand to the crawler that the team 'liberated' Vizago raised a hand "Ezra, I have General Syndulla." He called out pointing to the rebels around Chopper who was displaying a transmission from the pilot of The Ghost "Ezra, what's the emergency?" She asked turning to the hunter "we need to act right now if we're going to take capital city from the empire." He said with a serous look "you plan is crazy enough as it is. What's the rush?" Zeb asked with a raised brow "I had a vision the emperor is sending Thrawn back to Lothal. It's now or never." The hunter said with a confident nod "then it's never. We won't stand a chance. We already tried and failed. Our best hope is to lay low, reorganize, and rebuild." Ryder explained making Ezra snort angrily "no it's not, if you did that you'd be doing the same thing we've been doing for most of this Traveler damned war!" Ezra shouted angrily Sabine put a hand on his chest keeping him from advancing "have you ever heard the definition of Insanity, doing the exact same fucking thing, over and over again expecting shit to change." Ezra said calming down slightly by this point everyone had their attention on the Guardian "me and Sam have been here for over two years, near three. Meanwhile my war is still raging in another galaxy, we've been fighting and dying for your freedom, in fact how many times have I died since I been here Sam?" The hunter asked looking over his shoulder as his ghost appeared "go ahead tell them." He ordered "over a hundred times." She informed by this point the rebels looked down "over one hundred times, sure the first few years I was stuck here, but I could of left, I could of gone back to where I came from and continued my fight, but here I am." He started giving a large step forward "meanwhile my brothers and sisters in arms, the Guardians of earth fight to their last death to keep those people safe." Ezra continued looking them over "and we do it gladly, we don't back down, when we are weary and about to lose we don't just retreat, people depend on us, so we fight, die, and sacrifice to keep them alive." He said making heads look up hope in the eyes of multiple rebels Hera had a proud look on her face "so if you want to retreat there's the door, but I won't. I've got to fight, and I won't stop until this planet is free." He finished his speech "Ezra... we would need an army to take the city. Look around." He said gesturing to the ragtag group of rebels "I don't see an army." He said with sadness in his eyes "we don't need an army. Sun Zu said 'If you know the enemy and know yourself you need not fear the results of a hundred battles.'" The hunter recited looking over the group and turned to Sabine then Hera "I know us, and we know the empire, that will be enough." He continued looking around the rebels looked more moralized "All Warfare is based on deception, they say that we are weak and them strong, but that is wrong, they wield their 'power' with the mind of an wild animal taking down any that would dare try and challenge them, and those they see as weak, we wield our power in our hearts, families and faith because thats all most of us have." He said looking them over "For years the empire and their hypocrisy has turned the many galaxies into a warzone. The corrupt talk while our brothers and sons spill their own blood, and when the people cry for vengeance more people will join making the numbers spread like a wildfire. The fire builds, devouring everything in its path. The empire believe that they alone dictate the course of history, but all it takes is the will of a single man." Ezra ended his speech with a confident hunter smirk and the rebels cheered now full of resolve Ryder however shook his head with a sigh retreating into the cave he seemed different, defeated.
