After a long day of training Ezra sat on his bed dressed in his luxe gear looking at a memory of Cayde cloak he knew that he should be doing something else but he couldn't help it. Sabine and Hera where on the Phantom somewhere so there was nothing else to do. Besides the hunter liked looking at his cloaks, when he did he felt a sense of pride. He closed his eyes and ran a hand onto the cloak "Oh, what happened to you?" He mumbled to himself a frown appeared on his face feeling a tear in it What happened to who?" Ezra heard someone say, he turned his head and saw Kanan leaning against the door way the cloak disappeared in a flash of data and light as he looked at the Jedi "one of my cloaks has a tear in it not a big problem can be fixed, but that is a ceremonial cloak used for a funeral for a certain vanguard." The hunter explained standing and heading to the lounge "hey, hold on." Kanan said placing a hand on Ezra's shoulder "we have a lesson." he said as they both turned around and started for his room.

They both walked inside, Kanan went to a small table he used for mediation and gestured to Ezra to sit opposite him. Ezra complied and sat in front of him and Kanan sat in a meditative stance "close your eyes" he ordered as he did it himself, Ezra took a deep breath and closed his eyes "you'll find that mediation is a Jedi's primary past time. When you do it, you allow yourself to open up to the force allowing it to pass through you, guide you." Kanan explained as he could feel Ezra try and connect with the force "not unlike learning a new aspect to a subclass." Ezra said as he breathed in feeling the calm pressure in the room he crinkled his nose "Your thoughts are still on your 'vanguard' as you call him." he said using the force to read the hunter "there's just so many ways I could have saved him I could of jumped down directly from where I was, I could have ran faster..." he started but was interrupted "what kind of person were they?" Kanan asked the hunter gave a sad smile "he was cocky, flamboyant, and extremely competent, the best of all of us." Ezra said remembering Cayde "how did he go?" The jedi asked the hunter sighed "ghost's are the source of our light power when Sundance died it made him vulnerable." The hunter said a look of sadness crawled onto his face "I remember the funeral like it was yesterday." He continued looking down Kanan was about to comfort the hunter.

Suddenly the door opened and Zeb stepped in don't mean to intrude but Hera and Sabine are back." he said before walking off. Kanan and Ezra both stood up and headed for the lounge room where the ladder to the Phantom was. They entered to see Sabine and Hera come down with Chopper from the Phantom "everyone ok?" Kanan asked Hera as Sabine quickly went to sit down by the table and crossed her arms in anger. Ezra also took note that she was avoiding his gaze 'did i say something wrong last time we talked?' Ezra asked Sam in his mind "yeah we're fine but I scraped the Phantoms underbelly." Hera complained "you?" Kanan asked surprised and with a little bit of joy in his voice "it was somewhat unavoidable, once your plan went south." Hera explained pointing right at Kanan "Ah, there you go. New there had to be a way this was my fault." he replied with a smirk "and you were right dear" Hera smiled back "Zeb I need to Phantom ready to pick up the supplies from Fulcrum, adjust the steering and run a diagnostic. Chopper and Ezra will help you with any problems you find." she ordered "really?" Zeb said skeptically "have you met them?" He asked earning jab in the arm from Ezra as they headed up the Phantom while Kanan and Hera went to cock-pit. As Ezra followed Chopper up the ladder, his head turned to Sabine who was leaning on the table.

The hunter got closer "hey, what's going on?" Ezra asked Asked as he stood in front of her. Sabine looked up at him, they haven't really talked since the argument She decided to just let it go for now "are you ok with this?" Sabine asked earning a curious tilt from the hunter "with not knowing everything about the missions." she clarified causing the hunter to nod in understanding "well, I don't like it but it's not that bad" Ezra said offering her a hand. Sabine took it and stood up "I've ran with some different people back on earth it could be worse." he said before turning to go up the ladder.
