Out training Ezra and Sabine's minds were focused on their captured companion Hera she was in Imperial custody the hunter shook free of the thought and stopped the fist coming his way "your not focused, your attacks are predictable." Ezra instructed making the mando scoff "like yours are any less predictable, you made three strikes you did four moves ago." She said as she tried sweeping at his legs "Hera, was captured, and we are out training instead of planning." Sabine said in frustration performing a fake round house before going into a grapple wrestling him to the ground Ezra planted his foot on her midsection flipping her off and jumping to his feet "a hunter's skills must always be sharpened to be better." The hunter said grabbing Sabine's arm as she went in for a strike pulling her into a submission hold placing the knife inches from her throat "check." He said making the Mandalorian look around knowing she was beaten she let her arms go limp seeing this he eased up his grip sheathing the blade "it's nothing we haven't been through, she'll make it out with, or without our help. Hera is one of the most resilient people out there." Ezra reassured her Sabine making her sigh looking down "is it always this hard?" She asked looking back up at Ezra's face he had a look of ponder before nodded "nothing is easy, but life is about overcoming difficult challenges, and being a guardian you are going to find that most of what we do is a giant difficult challenge and sometimes... there's a chance that someone pays with their life." He said his face had a look of sadness but quickly changed "now, let's go we got to plan for an extraction." Ezra said gesturing towards the temple whilst walking to it.

Kanan knelt meditating and all that has happened "you want a ride?" His memories replayed the first time they met Ezra then to the hunter's first time resurrecting before their eyes "Kanan, you haven't gotten me a present since we first met." A memory of Hera talking to him was replayed as he felt the planet's calm side "you can learn what it truly means to be a Jedi." He heard himself remembering convincing the hunter to join him and the Ghost crew "listen Kanan I'm a hunter, we don't do directions very well, got to wonder you crazy?" The words Ezra spoke to him about joining up the smirk as he checked on his gun. He felt the nothingness of his blindness subside seeing the night sky, plains and the Lothwolf staring at him before it walked away and then the nothingness came back the Jedi sighed hearing footsteps from behind "I need you to do something for me." He said knowing the one behind him was his student "anything." He heard Sam say the little light hovered over the hunter's shoulder "take the lead on getting Hera back." Kanan said his head turned to the hunter "shouldn't you be the one to do that?" Ezra asked with a raised brow "I would, but I can't think clearly because of the way I feel about her. I might make a mistake. One that could cost us." Kanan explained making Ezra look to Sam "we can do this together. Less risks that way." The little light said making the blind Jedi shake his head "no. I'll be with you, but this has to be your plan. You lead." He said looking to the guardian and his ghost "if that's what you want." Ezra said turning back a smile gracing his face "it's what we need if we're going to save the two... and everyone else." Kanan said turning towards the plains.

Scene change

Electricity flickered underneath the door of a cell that two guards were standing infront of, a pained groan was heard from the otherside revealing Hera on a torture device as Governor Pryce pressed a button releasing the electricity into the pilot of The Ghost "you have a lovely voice, General Syndulla." Pryce said pressing on the tablet once again torturing the woman causing her a great deal of pain she panted as the electricity dissipated leaving her shaking from the volts that entered her body her teeth chattering feeling the overload of energy, causing her barely recognize the sound of the door opening. Thrawn entered waking towards the governor "has she revealed the location of the rebel fleet?" The Grand Admiral asked turning to the Twi'lek "oh, I haven't begun asking questions yet." Pryce said with a smirk shocking Hera once again making smoke emit from her body as she screamed in pain before the prongs retracted from her "then allow me." Thrawn said walking infront of the rebel captive "I'll die before I tell you anything." Hera spat looking to the Grand Admiral "I imagine you will, General. Like so many of your friends in the failed attack." Thrawn gloated walking towards Pryce "and so much of your family back on Ryloth. I wanted to ask you about your Kalikori, before your... 'ally' took my chance to examine and understand it." He said the disappointment evident in his voice before looking back "so now you will tell me the true extent of Ezra Bridger, his powers, weaknesses, or you will suffer beyond your imagination." Thrawn threatened looking to her "Ezra? So your scared of him... well Admiral even if I did know how to defeat him, why would I ever tell you?" Hera said with a look of defiance Hera, her face filled with resolve making Thrawn look almost impressed "commendable effort General, let's see if that could break." He said nodding to Pryce before leaving the room the governor looked pleased "this will be fun." She said pressing on her tablet making the prods shock the Twi'lek making Hera scream in pain the room lighting up with blue electricity.
