Summary: curiosity takes over when an unfamiliar set of brown eyes appear at your usual hangout spot.

A.N: we all know ajax can’t take a hint for the life of him but for the sake of this fic, let’s pretend he’s a little bold. and can we all admit we want to either own a coffee shop or a flower shop in another life? no? just me?

It was almost like you lived in the weathervane. If no one knew any better, they’d say you were glued to your unassigned assigned booth. You appreciated the aroma of freshly roasted coffee, the sight of groups of friends who’d meet up after class and it definitely helped that Tyler would provide free refills considering you were a regular. Today was no different.

"Thanks, Tyler" you thanked as the charming barista served you a cup of hot, freshly brewed coffee.

He gave you his million dollar smirk, "Anything for you, pretty lady." and he left you alone to indulge in whichever book seemed to be your monthly fixation.

You never seemed to be bothered by the constant tinkling of the little bell that sat above the weathervane entrance. But for some strange reason, you found yourself peering up from your chapter and toward the figure entering the coffee shop. You encountered a pair of brown eyes as you turned your attention to the door. A captivating pair that you've never seen in here before. You were here every day, sipping on your coffee and were certain that you would never forget eyes like his.

The boy with the mysterious brown eyes kept walking toward the cash register, hands shoved deep in the pocket of his hoodie. Despite the fact that your attention was drawn back to the book in front of you, you carefully listened to his conversation with Tyler, even though you didn’t exactly intend on being nosy.
