Chapter 3

Luna's POV

Morning came, and once I woke up, I didn't remember I was in the cage good thing Luan unlocked the door, and left it open for me. I quickly got ready and headed down stairs for some reason I was really hungry, like really, really hungry.
"Hmmm, werid I'd never felt this hungry before" I thought to myself
A few seconds later breakfast was served, and again for some reason I finished fast.
"I never finished eating that fast before, hmm must be nothing."
After breakfast we headed to school once I arrived I went up to my friends.
"Morning Lunes." Sam said,
"Oh hey Sam." I said,
"That was a little rude." She said,
"Oh sorry dude, I don't know what came over me." I said,
"It's ok." She said,
"Well we should get to class don't want to be late." I said,
"Ok." She said,
We went to class, and sat down I was paying more attention today since I didn't have to worry about my wolf features appearing but I was acting rather strange I was be rude sometimes but I at least I said sorry. The teacher wasn't buying any of it. I got very hungry in class the same kinda hungry I was this morning. It was werid I had no idea what was happening. Lunch time I did sit with my friends but they thought I was acting starnge as well because I finished my food very fast. They were confused and I was too I've never been able to finish meals this fast. In the morning and right now.
"Hey Luna you feeling ok, you've been acting strange." Sam asked
"I feel fine, and I've noticed it too dude, so werid." I said,
"Ok, if you say so." She said,
After lunch again in class I was acting strange and being rude sometimes, I always said sorry but again the teacher didn't really buy it. At the end of the day I remembered that I canceled pratice with my band beacause of what was happening to me. I went up to them, and they seemed like they were ready to start, but I was still acting a bit rude, getting after them for a littlest things, and stufff. I said sorry but they were kinda mad at me for getting a little snappy at them. I couldn't help it, I just said those things without thinking first, what's happening to me right now. We ending pratice a little early since I was constantly getting after them. Sully and Mazzy left but Sam came up to me to talk.
"Luna if there's something happening to you let me know, you've been acting werid today, and you did yesterday." She said,
"Ok, and I'm sorry for getting after you, and our friends I never meant it." I said,
"I know you didn't, see you tomorrow Lunes." She said,
She walked away, I got picked up, and taken back home, my mom didn't notice anything because I barly talked to her on the way home. Once I got home I sat at the table since dinner was already being made. Lisa noticed me being a little down.
"You ok third oldest sister?" She asked,
"Not really dude." I said,
"What seems to be the problem?" She asked,
"Well today I've been acting strange, I'm hungry more than I usual am, I eaten my food fast, and I've been acting rude towards people." I said,
"Hmmm, looks like I forgot something to tell you." She said,
"What dude?" I asked, a little rude
"There it is." She said,
"What is?" I asked, again still a little rude.
"I fogot to tell you that you'll experience some symptoms of the wolf's dna." She said,
"Like what?" I asked,
"Like what you just-" She said, but I cut her off.
"Anyone else very hungry?" I asked,
"I'm hungry, I don't know about very hungry." Lola said,
I got up, and walked to the kitchen where I opened the fridge. our dad came up to me.
"Whoa, kiddo dinner's almost ready. Can you wait?" He asked,
Lisa, and Lola came in. I grabbed some food, and closed the fridge
"Father, it seems that Luna has gotten a lot hungrier than she did before." Lisa said,
"And why's that?" He asked,
Lola elbowed Lisa.
"Alright, alright, I might have mixed Luna's dna with a wolf's." She said,
"Why, did you do that?" He asked,
"It was for an experiment." She said,
"Well, give her the cure, if you have one that is." He said,
"I did, but I accidentally knocked it off my desk." She said,
"You what?" He asked, dumbfounded.
"I accidentally knocked it off my desk, but don't fear I'm making a new one pronto." She said,
"That's good, but how long will that take?" he asked,
"13 to 14 months at best." I said,
"What?" He said,
"Yep, precisely." She said,
"Ok, you're telling me you thought it was a good idea to mix your sister's dna with wolf's for an experiment, you accidentally knocked the cure off you desk, it will take 13 to 14 months at best to make a new one, and we're stuck with Luna who'd turn into a wolf on a full moon?" He asked,
"Yep, pretty much, I thought we told you." She said,
"I thought you were joking." He said,
"Nope, all real." She said,
"Well you're grounded for two weeks, and you need to save your hunger even it's unbarable because dinner is almost ready." He said,
He took my food out of my hand. I sat back down.
"Good going Lisa." Lola said,
"Hey, he said I'm grounded not you, so." Lisa said,
"Yeah, but you could have gotten us all on lockdown." Lola said,
"But I didn't and keep your mouth closed father will here you, and send us into lockdown." Lisa said,
"Lola Loud doesn't listen to anyone." Lola said,
"Maybe you should because if you don't you'll get all of us in trouble." Lisa said,
Then they started fighting, I didn't have the energy to stop them. Our dad came out and told them to knock it off, they did but they still were at each other's troats. Dinner was ready everyone was called and they sat down. I ate my food very fast. Everyone was looking at me with disbelief.
"What?" I asked, a little rude.
Everyone looked at Lisa apart from Lola, and dad.
"I might have not told her about the symptoms she'll experiance, and mother I mixed her dna with a wolf's." Lisa said,
"Why?" Mom asked,
"It was for an experiment." Lisa said,
I got another plate and woofed down that one too. After a few hours it was bed time, and for the most part I didn't sleep I was thinking about what was happening to me, the features, the symptoms. I hope 13 to 14 months comes very soon. I don't know how to live with this anymore.
