Chapter 19: The dark forest

The next few days people would glare at Harry, Ron, and Mione. I wanted to tell people I was there to, but then I knew it would get around to Minnie, and I don't want to see that. Today was the day they were going for there detention. We all had a free period, so I went to see Dumbledore. "This is an emergency!" I said to the Gargoyels. They lept aside and I went up to the head masters office. I knocked on the door. A, 'come in' was heard from the other side of the door. I opened it up and stepped inside. "Ahhh, miss black. And what do I owe the pleasure?" He asked. "Professer, um there's something that is really, um, wierd. I can become invisible...atleast I think I can." He sighed. "Yes well there is a...prophecy, that a young girl with, blue eyes, and long curly brown hair, and with the enitials of R.J.B. would have the most extraordinary powers. I guess you are that girl, and I dare say that becoming invisible is one of your powers." He said, he had a look of mischief in his eyes. For what reason I don't know why but, oh well.

"Well okay then, goodbye Professor!" I chirped. He nodded his head and I left. It was now time for my three friends detention. But the thing is I'm joining them. I'm going to become invisible and follow them. I willed myself to go invisible, then followed 'Mione to the entrance hall, were we were met by, Filch, Harry,Ron, and Malfoy. Filch looked really happy, probably because he can finally get someone else (besides Fred and George) in trouble. Filch started rambling about how he liked the old punishments better. Once we reached Hagrids hut, we saw Hagrid standing there with a cross bow. "Alrigh' you 'hree?" He asked Mione, Ron, and Harry. "Fine." replied Harry. "Wouldn't be to friendly to them Hagrid. They are here to be punished after all." Said Filch in his creepy monotone voice. *mentally shudders* After a bit of talkin Filch leaves. "Hiya Guys!" I say reappearing behind them. They all three jump and Ron screams. "Bloody Hell Rose! How did you get here!?" Ron asks clutching his chest. I can't answer, cause I am rolling around on the ground laughing. After my laughing fit I say, "Well Ronald there this thing that parents do to make baby's mabey you've heard of it it's called-" "I KNOW WHAT ITS CALLED." Ron yelled. He face and ears have become a light shade of pink now. Harry and I were rolling on the ground laughing, Hermione was stifling giggles, Hagrid was chuckling, and Malfoy had the weirdest face ever. It was a muxture between, amused, and Horrified. "Righ'" said Hagrid strait ending himself up. "We bes' get goin'" He said setting of for the forest.

Once we were inside Hagrid split us up into groups. "Okay I take, Ron and 'Mione. Harry, Malfoy, and Rose can go in another group." Hagrid said. "Then I get fang!" Malfoy demanded. "Alrigh' but I'm warnin ya he's a ruddy cowar'" Hagrid warned handing over fangs leash. He then sent us of and we started walking. We had been told to follow the unicorn blood, so that's what we did. After some walking we came across a clearing, and in the middle lay a once beautiful, majestic, and powerful creature, a unicorn. We started towards it but we were stopped when we saw a black hooded figure hovering over-top of it, and the revolting slurping noise that came with it. Fang barked and the 'thing' looked up. Malfoy screamed and he and fang both made a break for it, but Harry and I couldn't move. The figure started closing towards us and my scar began to burn. I have a feeling Harry's did to because we both stumbled back. We were about to run when we tripped on a tree root. "Harry." I whimpered. He took me in his arms. I buried my face in his chest while he buried his in my hair.

But before the thing could get near us we heard the sound of hooves. Harry and I looked up to see a half horse half man, leap over us. He reared on his hind legs and made the thing go away. "Harry Potter, and Rose Black, you must leave. You two are known to many creatures here. The forest is not safe at this time. ecspeasially for you two." The man/horse thing concluded. "But what was that thing you saved us from?" Asked Harry. "A monstrous creature, it is a terrible crime to slay a unicorn. But drinking the blood of a unicorn will keep you alive even if you are a inch from death, but at a terrible price....you have slane something so pure, that from the moment the blood touches you lips, you will have a half life, a cursed life." He said dramatically. "But who would choose such a life?" I asked. "Can you think of no one?" He asked me. "Do you mean to say...that, that thing that killed the unicorn, was-" "Voldemort?" I asked cutting Harry off. "Do you two know what is hidden in the school at this very moment?" He asked. Harry and I. We shared a glance. "The scorcerers stone!?" Harry and I chorused. Before the guy horse or whatever it's called could speak, there was a bark and Hagrids voice. "Harr', Rose!!" He said running down the hill, with Malfoy, Mione, and Ron at his heels. When Hermione saw me she gave a sigh o relief and came over to hug me.

I hugged her back. "This is were I leave you." said the oh what the heck ever you know what I'm talking about. He then galloped of into the darkness and dog of the forest.
