More than one || HP [DISC.]

Book 2: Chapter 5

        The next few weeks of summer consisted of Harry's birthday, (Which he loved!) and Cathy, Harry, and I trying to turn into our animagnus forms. We all had a different strategy. Harry would just walk around the house, making me laugh because seeing Harry walk around with a scrunched up face, and little horns sticking out of his head was quite funny.
        Cathy liked to get up late at night or early in the morning. She would go to one of the rooms we didn't use and practice all night. I knew this because one night I heard the door to Cathy's bedroom, which is right beside mine, open. I got up to investigate and found Cathy going upstairs. She explained that she had been practicing like that for a while now.
        As for me, I practiced any time I was alone. I found that wearing something comfy helped your concentration a bit. I would sit in my room for hours sometimes, and practice. It's hard holding concentration with all the noise down stairs, (Curtesy of Cathy and Harry!) but I've finally managed to hold onto it. I was actually practicing right now. My hair was up in a messy ponytail, and I had on some pajama shorts, (They were comfy, and it is summer soooo...) and a lime tank top.
        I was concentrating very hard, and I think that I am actually getting there! The door opened, and Cathy walked in with Harry. "Hey, Rose! Wow, that's really good!" Harry said, smiling.
        Making sure to keep a tiny bit of concentration I replied, "Thanks."
        "Anytime." He replied. "Do you think you can get it?" Harry asked.
        "I'll try." I said, closing my eyes. I know that I have gray and white fur, along with paws. I suddenly felt myself shrinking. I opened my eyes to see everything becoming larger. Suddenly, I wasn't human anymore. I walked up to the mirror beside my desk, and saw a husky! I barked in excitement. I heard Harry and Cathy high-fiving behind me.
"Were's the dog!" Dad yelled, running into the room. I smirked, payback. I ran up to him and licked his face. "Argh!" Dad yelped, laughing. I barked again, walking towards Harry. "Rose?" He questioned. I nodded. "Well, you certainly transformed quick Padfoot Jr." Dad said, smiling. Padfoot jr? Nah, don't like it. I shook my head.
"I don't think she likes that name Sirius." Harry said.
"How about, Bandit? You have those black parts around your eyes!" Cathy suggested. I barked in approval. I felt this really weird sensation all of a sudden, and turned around seeing my tail wagging. I laughed, starting to chase it. I see why dogs do this, it's fun!
"Rose, sweetie, you can't catch it." Dad said, laughing with Cathy and Harry. I growled at them, walking over to my bed and laying down. "Do you two wanna try?" Dad asked Cathy and Harry. They both nodded. I watched as they slowly transformed. Cathy kept getting really small until she was a small, brown Weasel. Harry grew a bit, and transformed into a Stag. Dad cheered, laughing. "I'll go get Remus!" He yelled, apparating get away. You know what? I wanna go for a run. I got up, jumping of my bed and toward the door. Cathy looked at me questioningly. I just pawed at the door.
"Who's who?" Uncle Moony said as he appeared.
"The Husky is Rose, or as we now call her, Bandit! The Weasle is Cath, or as we call her now, Runner," Dad stopped, making sure the name was okay with Cathy. She nodded, and jumped on my bed, and onto Harry, and laying on top of his head. "And the Stag is Harry, or as we call him, prongslet!" Dad said. Harry nodded slightly in approval. I went back to pawing at the door, barking at Dad and Lupin to let me out.
"Let me guess, you wanna go for a run?" Uncle Moony asked. I nodded, making him laugh and open the door. He then ran downstairs to open the back door which led to a small patch of woods. Let's go!
