"Wake up! Wake up! We've got classes!" Ginny yelled, jumping on my bed. I groaned, burying my head into my pillow. I heard Ginny sigh in frustration, and felt her weight leave the bed. "She won't get up!" I heard Ginny whine to Cathy.
"I got this." I heard Cathy say. I immediately knew what she was going to do, so I quickly rolled underneath my bed. "Wait, Gin were is she?" Cathy asked when she came in from the washroom.
"She was on her bed." Ginny said confused. I stifled a giggle, peeking an eye open. I saw Cathy and Ginny's feet standing beside my bed. "Maybe she hid underneath?" Ginny asked.
"She probably did." Mione's thick accent said. "You know her. She hates getting up in the mornings." I heard Mione sigh. I saw Cathy drop down and look under the bed.
"Ah ha!" Cathy yelled triumphantly. I curled up in a tight ball. "Rose! I swear I'll tell Sirius!" Cathy snapped. I just curled up tighter. "I'll tell Harry you like him." Cathy smirked. My eyes widened and I quickly scrambled out.
"Works every time!" Ginny shouted. I just grumbled under my breath grabbing my robes and went to the wash room. I quickly took a shower, got dressed, and brushed my teeth. I walked out of the washroom, grabbed my bag and walked out the door and out the steps with Ginny, Cathy, and Mione.
"Took ya long enough!" Ron said when he saw us coming.
"We wouldn't have taken so long if Rose had gotten up on time." Cathy said, shrugging. "Now come on! It's my first breakfast at Hogwarts!" Cathy cheered before slipping away. Ginny and Mione followed while Ron talked with Fred and George who started hanging around us a while ago. I actually think Cathy and Fred got together sometime during the train ride. Harry and I were the only ones left, and so we hurried out the portrait hole, talking about Qudditch.
"I wonder when practice is going to start..." Harry wondered, smiling.
"I dunno. We'll have to ask Wood when he plans to start it up." I shrugged. Harry nodded,
"Do you plan on trying those moves you saw in your dads magazine?" Harry asked me. He was talking about an old Qudditch magazine my dad had from his Hogwarts years.
"Only some of the easier ones at first. I want to master the basics before I try anything else." I told him, picturing myself flying around and doing all sorts of cool tricks.
"Good, we don't need our best chaser hurt, now do we?" Harry joked, slinging and arm around my shoulders.
"Nope!" I cheered, opening the doors to the Great Hall. Everyone looked up and stared at us. I just rolled my eyes, continuing to make my way to my seat. I plopped down next to Mione while Harry sat next to Ron.
"I wonder what classes we're having first?" Hermione questioned, taking a bite of her toast.
"Just as long as it's not potions I'm fine with it." Harry said coldly, glancing up at the potions master, Severus Snape. I looked down the row of teachers and saw the usual ones, Professor Sprout, the Herbology teacher and head of Hufflepuff. Then there was Professor Sinistra, the astronomy teacher. Little Professor Flitwick, charms teacher and head of Ravenclaw house. Snape, potions master and head of Slytherin. Minnie, Transfiguration teacher and head of Gryffindor house. Then, Dumbledore, who sat talking to a teacher I had never had before. Then there was Lockhart, talking to an annoyed Filch about who knows what.
"What's so bad about potions?" Cathy asked.
"Wait, you mean they didn't tell you? Blimey, I thought they'd tell you all about it!" Ron said in surprise. Harry and I shared an uncomfortable look, our eyes not meeting Cathy's.
        "Tell me what?" Cathy snapped.
"Snape is the potions master. He hates Harry and I because dad and James used to tease him in school....he still hasn't grown up and instead of working things out with dad, he decided to take it out on us." I explained, moving my food around.
"And you were gonna tell me this when?" Cathy asked, her tone softening a bit.
"When we needed to. Look just don't tell dad or Uncle Moony. Oh, look! Our time tables!" I said quickly.
"Good way to change the subject..." Cathy muttered. I just rolled my eyes, snatched up all our time tables and examined them.
        "Well?" Asked Ron.
"All the same classes." I squealed happily, clapping my hands together. Then I noticed I hadn't gotten Mione's. I went to get it from her but Ron beat me.
"All the same!" Ron said checking their papers. "Wait, Hermione, why have you got Lockharts name put in a heart?" Ron asked, looking at her curiously. Mione blushed before grabbing her paper, and leaving.
"Good job Ron!" Cathy, Ginny, and I said.
"What!? It's not my fault she's so bloody sensitive!" Ron said defensively. All us girls rolled our eyes.
"Whatever, let's go to Transfiguration!" I cheered, skipping out of the hall.
