Rose sat up from her bed as her Aunt Lavender yelled her name. 'Honestly, why can't you do anything yourself?' Rose thought with an inward groan. "Yes, what is it?" She asked as she opened the door to her room.
"Go to the store and get some groceries, money and list should be on the table." Rose nodded, and started doing her normal routine, and put on her shoes after getting dressing in her cousins old jumper and leggings. Rose walked down the little street on Privet Drive. She hated it here, it was always so gloomy in her opinion. Rose looked over to a small park to see a chubby boy with dark brown hair. There was also another boy, with raven hair and he looked to be unhealthily skinny. He also had glasses, and behind those were amazing green eyes that you could get lost in. The chubbier boy shoved the other to the ground and laughed. Rose glared at the chubbier one and walked over, grabbing his attention with a pull of his sleeve.
"Hey, leave him alone!" Rose growled angrily, not even registering when the boy flew away and scrambled up to run away, screaming for his mum. "You okay?" Rise asked the boy, holding out a hand to help him up.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I'm Harry Potter," He introduced, and she smiled, shaking his hand.
"Rose Black," A sudden mist swirled their of our inter locked hands, surprising them. "Whoa!" Rose whispered, watching it spiral up. There was a sudden crack before Rose could feel her feet leave the ground, and it felt as if she were moving in slow motion. A light appeared seemingly beneath her and she landed in it.
*Flashback: Third person*
Little Harry laughed as Little Rose smashed a toy block onto the floor. Rose clapped, smiling. Lily and Jane smiled lovingly, their hearts warming as they watched the two. Sirius and James laughed when Harry tried, (and failed) to do the same as Rose. "See Prongs? I told you Rose is stronger!" Sirius laughed, dodging a slap from James.
"Yeah, yeah Padfoot. Cherish it now! When Harry grows up he's gonna be a Quidditch player! And he'll be stronger than Rose!" James declared, a look of pride in his hazel eyes.
"Oh, would you shut it, you two!?" Lily and Jane snapped, glaring at the childish men. "Your kids are trying to talk!" Lily smiled, yet gave them each stern looks. James and Sirius smiled sheepishly before going silent. "Thank you!" Lily chirped, giggling when Harry ran over to her and starting bouncing one of his action figures off of her leg.
"Hey, little man! No hitting mummy!" James scolded jokingly.
"Okway, Daddy! Mummy I'm sorry!" Harry said softly, placing a kiss on her knee. "There, all better!" Lily laughed and ruffled Harry's hair, kissing his head.
"Thank you, Doctor Harry! I feel much better now," Lily softly pushed Harry back towards Rose who was rolling Lily's yoga ball back and forth.
"Harry, get on!" Rose ordered, pointing at the ball whilst she held it steady. Harry nodded and began attempting to climb on the ball, failing each time. Jane and Sirius began chuckling, smirks on their faces as Rose kept running Harry over with the ball, though she was nice enough to avoid his glasses.
"They're definitely our kids," Sirius let out a loud bark of laughter as Rose lost control of the ball and it rolled into the kitchen whilst she flopped on top of Harry.
"Definitely," James echoed, a happy smile on his face.
*End of vision*
Rose felt the same sickening sensation she felt before and then she hit the ground beside Harry. Both looked at each other, wide-eyed. "What- what happened?" Rose asked, looking at Harry confused. He shook his head as if to say, 'I don't know' Sighing, Rose looked at the sky, as if an answer would just appear.
"It's getting late," Harry commented. "I should get home," Rose nodded, smiling in understandings
"Wait!" Rose called as he began to walk away. He turned around to face Rose, raising his eyebrows.
"What?" He asked, looking at Rose in confusion.
"Wanna meet up here again sometime!?" She asked. He nodded, smiling, before turning and walking away. Grinning to herself she ran quickly to the store that was in the middle of town. Pulling the list from her pocket, she grabbed a cart and began shopping, grabbing what she needed off the shelves, nervously asking for help when she couldn't reach something. Before Rose knew it she was finished with the shopping.
After paying Rose left the store in a hurry, grunting as she walked. Rose was definitely carrying way too many bags. She made it back to her house in about fifteen minutes, opening and shutting the door quietly before making her way to the kitchen to begin putting things away. "There you are! What the hell were you doing?! You've been gone for two bloody hours!" Rose's aunt yelled as she walked into the kitchen. Rolling her eyes, Rose ignored her, but she couldn't help but be confused. Two hours? But she could have sworn it was only half an hour!
Rose began putting everything away as I pondered this. Then she thought of something that may have made me be gone for so long. That vision that she had when she had shook hands with that boy. Speaking of which, what even was that?! That doesn't just happen! Maybe she just need some sleep.
