After what seemed like forever we reached a corridor. It was the corridor that the message had been written in. A rickety old wooden chair sat underneath the message that the Professors nor Filch were able to clean off. "What are we-?" I stopped when Hermione and Ron gave me a look that clearly said, 'be quite'. Mione and Ron went to the end of the corridor, opened a door, and stepped in. Harry, Cathy, and I shared confused looks. Why were they going in there!? Especially Ron! It was the girls bathrooms! Cathy shrugged, walking inside. Harry and I sighed before following her. The walls were all made of stone and a circle of basins sat in the middle, mirrors above each one.
"I've never been in here before." Cathy said, spinning in a circle to look at everything.
"Actually, nobody come in here." Mione said from one of the stalls.
"Why?" I asked.
"Moaning Myrtle." Mione shrugged, coming out of the stall.
"Who?" Harry asked, his face scrunching up in confusion. Mione sighed exasperated,
"Moaning Myrtle." Hermione said more firmly, grabbing something from her bag and leaving back into the stall.
"Who's Moaning Myrtle?" Harry asked, raising an eyebrow at me. I shrugged, looking around silently. There was a sudden wail of angry crying, and something transparent flew into Harry's face.
"I'm Moaning Myrtle!" Cried a voice. I could see a figure of a girl, maybe a bit older than us, give ring inches off the ground. "But I wouldn't expect you to know me!" She continued, her face looked a mixture between sad and angry. She went to shout again before I stood in front him.
"Stop insulting him like that! He only asked who you were because he's knew to all of this! Been raised by Muggles all his life! Barley knows any of the ghosts here!" I told her, desperately trying to persuade her into not making so much noise. She stared at me for a moment before letting out a great cry of despair and plunged into a toilet, making the water splash.
"That was almost cheerful for Myrtle, really." Mione shrugged, bringing something with her out of the stall. "Anyway, what we were going to tell you is, Ron has the suspicion that Malfoy's the heir of Slytherin." Mione stopped when Cathy interrupted her.
"Malfoy? The heir? Blimey, you've got to be joking!" Cathy snorted, rolling her eyes.
"It was just an idea." Ron mumbled, looking down as though he was ashamed.
"It was a good idea Ron, that's why we're going to find out if it's true or not." Mione told him, sitting down a cauldron of what looked to be boiling water. "I've been developing this since yesterday morning, though I need more ingredients and we'll have to wait until the full moon to get some." Mione told us, reading some words out of our textbook.
"And...what are you making exactly?" I asked, trying to read the name upside down.
"Poly juice potion." Mione answered.
"Wait guys, I think there's something wrong here..." Cathy said suddenly.
"And that is...?" Harry asked, trailing off.
"Hermione's breaking rules and nobody forced her to." Cathy laughed.
"Oh, honestly you three! Hurry up!" Mione said as we trudged into the common room, tired and aching from another Quidditch practice. Cathy flipped her the finger before walking up the steps. I just shrugged at Hermione when she gasped and opened her mouth to scold her. I walked upstairs too, getting in the shower quickly, changing into some jeans and a red jumper, and brushing my hair. Cathy walked in after me, rubbing her shoulder. I think she got hit by a bluger at some point.
I flopped on my bed, closing my eyes and letting sleep take over.
**Dream**
I walked down a slope, and into a big room. A boy, about three years older than me stood before me, smirking evilly.
"Ah, Black. Oh, how happy I am to see you." He laughed, eyeing me. "I was beginning to think I couldn't get through to you." He started walking forward, so I instinctively reached for my wand. I found it in the pocket of my robes and grabbed it, pointing it at the boy.
"Fast. No matter, it won't make killing you harder than it already is. But," he paused, his eyes gleaming with hatred, "I want you to know you won't be the 'Girl Who Lived' forever, that will eventually change. But enjoy your fame for now." The boy laughed, no, cackled evilly.
**End of Dream**
I shot up, knocking my head with someone else's. Cathy stood over me, looking worried, her hair was half brushed and she sported a scrape on her knee. "What happened?" She asked Ina terrified whisper.
"I-I don't know." I stuttered truthfully, staring at the ground.
"You were whimpering and started screaming about half way through. You're extremely pale as well." Cathy told me, helping me stand. As soon as I stood I felt it. There was a searing pain in my scar that made me fall again. I cried out, keeping my hand there. My vision was blurry and I didn't know were I was. Better yet, who am I? Then, it all seemed to just fade away, and I was left in eternal darkness, though the screams of people could be heard as I slowly lost consciousness.
Ooooo, cliffhanger! I have no clue what's gonna happen but oh well! Hope ya liked it! Bai Mah Fluffys! Peace!
