More Than One Christmas Special!

"Roooooooose," called a dark and warning  voice from over my shoulder.

"Hehehe...he...he?" Turning around to sheepishly face my dad I gave him a hesitant wave. "Uh, hi! Gotta blast!" I yelled, getting up quickly and trying to run only to have dad grab the back of my jumper so that I was just moving my feet without going anywhere. "No! I've been caught! Tell Harry I love him!" I yelled at Catchy as she walked passed me and up the stairs.

"Yeah, yeah," Cathy called back, waving a hand in dismissal. Dad turned me around with an evil grin, bending down so he was eye level with me.

"Rose, how many times do I have to tell you? No sneaking peaks at the presents!" Dad said sternly, pointing a finger ate me.

"But Daaaaaad," I whined, stomping my foot. "I bet you did the same thing when you lived with James!" I groaned, a small smile on my face.

"Of course I did, and Mrs. Potter said the same thing that I said to you every time," Dad grinned, turnings me around and pushing me towards the stairs lightly. "Now go!" Dad laughed, watching me sulk up the stairs.

"You get caught again, Rose?" Harry laughed as I reached the top of the stairs where he stood waiting. I pouted and nodded, sighing in frustration.

"How does he always know?" I whined, throwing her hands into the air. "It's not like I'm loud about it." I stomped away, an amused Harry trailing behind me.

"Parents intuition?" Harry pondered, plopping down on my bed beside where I had already laid. "I mean, Sirius always seems to know when something's up." Harry shrugged, turning his head to look over at me. Humming, I sat up and looked down at him.

"I suppose you're right. But now you've got to leave so I can wrap your present!" I declared, kissing Harry's nose before pushing him slightly. Harry blushed and grinned before pushing himself off my bed and towards the door.

"Okay. Talk to you later, Rose." Harry closed the door behind him and walked away, leaving me to drag out his present. It was a decently sized quilt with pictures from first and second year on it. In the very middle was a picture of Ron, Hermione Harry and I at the train station after our first year at Hogwarts. You could just barely see Dad, Remus, Molly, Arthur and Mr. and Mrs. Granger in the background. Looking at the quilt fondly, my eyes drifted to something else.

It was a picture of Lily and James with Harry, standing in front of their cottage in Godrics Hollow. "Harry misses you both. Don't ever let your presences leave him." I whispered softly before folding the quilt up neatly and placing it next to me, dragging out a box and some snitch themed wrapping paper. I quickly finished wrapping Harry's present and went on to wrapping everyone else's. I had gotten Cathy a few pranking kits plus (as a prank,) a 'Safe Sex Starter Kit', as I had caught Fred and Cathy getting into rather heated snog sessions.

I had of course gotten Mione books, the likes of which I had no idea of what they were about, and matching necklaces that said 'Partners in Crime'. I had gotten Ron some fudge from a shop in town and had talked Molly into letting Ron get a dog, so I had gotten Ron a Yoriki, something small and simple. Said puppy was currently living with Dad's cousin who I had yet to meet. I had gotten Fred and George pranking supplies and Molly and Arthur a few muggle cook books and a rubber duck since Arthur seemed so interested in them the last time we met.

"Merry Christmas everyone!" I whispered to myself.

"Rose! Get up! It's Christmas! You've been whining about not opening presents so wake up!" Cathy yelled loudly, bouncing on my bed. Startled, I jerked up and fell out of bed since I was laying on the edge.

"Ack! Cathy!" I yelped, looking up at her through a hole in the blankets that had fallen on top of me. Cathy smirked and jumped down beside me, walking out of the room so that I could untangle myself.

I quickly got out of the blankets, slipped on my silky red dress, combed my hair, brushed my teeth and put on some socks since it was practically freezing. After I was finished, I ran downstairs, sitting beside Harry on the couch when I reached the sitting room. The Weasley's, Hermione, Cathy, Dad and Remus all sat in there as well, a present in each of their laps.

"Here you are, dear," Molly said softly as she handed Rose a medium sized box.

"Thank you, Molly!" I said happily, eagerly drumming my fingers on what I assumed was a box. After we made sure everyone had their presents, we started opening ours. The box that I was just handed held a box of some pranking supplies Fred and George had made with a note attached telling me to lie about what is was and not to open the box at the moment. Thanking Fred and George I put the box next to me and crumbled up the note, sitting it under my leg to hide it.

After everyone had finished opening our presents and playing with Ron's new dog, Jasper, we all rushed into the dining room to eat. Molly had made a large feast with the help of dad whilst we were asleep. "Wow! It all looks so good!" I gasped, sitting down with Harry to my right and Mione to my left while Ron sat on Harry's other side.

"Thank you, princess!" Dad exclaimed jokingly, coughing when Molly elbowed him in the stomach as she passed by him.

"Thank you, dear." Molly smiled while sitting down a large ham in the middle of the table. Nodding at Molly and giving her a bright smile in return I started to stack my plate along with everyone else. Small conversation was made as everyone ate, and after eating we all went outside to play.

We made snowmen, had a gigantic snowball fight that nobody will say that they lost to, and at some point I had shoved a pie in Cathy's face. Smiling at the memory, I laid down and pulled my comforter up to my chin, snuggling into the warmth of my bed.

This Christmas was truly the best.
