The sun beamed down on them, illuminating their path as they strolled toward the park. The trees danced to the gentle rhythm of the breeze, adding to the peaceful atmosphere that surrounded Jimin and Jungkook, the soft breeze caressed their skin, embracing them in a tender embrace. They had decided to take this walk after breakfast, as Jungkook had taken the day off to unwind. Despite being reunited after eight years of separation a few months prior, they had never truly had a moment of serenity and tranquility together. Their conversations had always been rushed due to studies and work, leaving them with little time to connect on a deeper level. Even when they did manage to spend time together, they were never able to enjoy a calm and heartwarming chat

As they walked side by side, Jungkook wrapped his arm around Jimin's waist, providing him with the comfort he needed. Jimin leaned into him, feeling the warmth and safety of his friend's embrace. It was the first time they could enjoy each other's company without any interruption, and Jimin cherished every moment of it.

Jungkook broke the silence, his voice as soft as a whisper, "Are you feeling better, Chim?"

Jimin smiled, nodding his head. "Yeah, thank you," he replied, grateful for Jungkook's unwavering support.

As they strolled along the path, Jimin's mind was racing with thoughts and emotions. He felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude towards Jungkook, grateful for his presence and the fact that he was still alive. Although there were times when he felt betrayed and hurt, thinking back to the past, he still couldn't help but be thankful that Jungkook had found him. Jimin had conflicting feelings, both positive and negative, but he knew that having Jungkook by his side, walking with him, and embracing him was everything he could ask for. It made his life whole and complete once again.

As they strolled towards the end of the park, Jungkook turned to Jimin, his gaze brimming with sincerity. "Chim, I know it's tough, but you need to open up about what happened, even the tiniest of details," he urged in a gentle tone.

Jimin's eyes flickered with trepidation as he cast his gaze downwards. "I'm not sure if I'm ready for that," he murmured softly.

Comprehending Jimin's reluctance, Jungkook leaned in and whispered, cupping Jimin's face in his hands. "What if we take it one step at a time? Start by asking me anything you want to know, no matter how trivial it might seem."

Jimin nodded lettingJungkook's gentle voice wrap around him like a warm blanket, feeling an array of emotions surging through him - he was both anxious and apprehensive. Although he knew that Jungkook was right, the prospect of hearing the truth made him quiver with fear.

Jungkook sensed Jimin's distress and planted a delicate kiss on his lips, "Just trust me, I'm here for you, and we'll take it slow."

Jimin lowered his head, feeling jittery and fretful, his forehead resting on Jungkook's chest. As he breathed in the scent of Jungkook, he could feel his heartbeat gradually calming down.

"It's alright, we can talk about something else if you're not ready," Jungkook whispered softly.

But before Jungkook could say anything else, Jimin mustered up the courage to speak. He closed his eyes and held Jungkook tightly, taking deep breaths to steady himself, feeling a sense of calm wash over him. He rested his head on Jungkook's chest, listening to the steady beat of his heart.

"Why didn't you come to me when you were alive? Why didn't you reach out, even when you saw how much pain I was in?" Jimin finally whispered, his voice trembling with emotion. "Why didn't you come back to me?" he asked in a hushed tone, his grip tightening around Jungkook, afraid of what the answer might be.

Jungkook's soft reply sent shivers down Jimin's spine. His voice was filled with anguish and pain, and Jimin knew he had missed out on so much. "I couldn't, chim," he whispered. "I wanted to, more than anything, but I was trapped in a place where I couldn't reach you. It was like being in a different dimension, and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't come back to you. I felt helpless stuck with the demons of my past, the shackles of my father's expectations. I had to prove myself, to make a place in this world where I could be free from his grasp. But even after I succeeded, fate dealt me a cruel blow and I was unable to move, and it made everything worse."
