~Your POV~
Joy, that's all you felt as you stood in
their arms. The pain was numbed by the happiness. But not even that feeling could save you.
~A few moments ealrier~
"General, I need you to stay calm."
You opened your eyes to Kix at your bedside. Tired, so so tired, opening your eyes was like lifting a mountain. But your heart was already racing and you sat up way to quickly.
"General-"
You cut him off by standing up next to him with a pleading look in your eyes. Then a droid came up next to you.
"Ms. Y/l/n, I will advise you to-"
Rolling your eyes, you stumbled forward and shakily punched him into the wall.
"General, I-"
You shook your head and stepped backwards, yanking out your IV. Doctors and droids surrounded you but you shoved their hands away.
"Y/n!"
Frozen. Stuck in place. Until you turned your head to the side. Anakin was breaking through the door. You chuckled and smiled as you ran toward him. He just got in the door when you jumped at him. And he held you against his chest. Keeping you close, letting you bask in his smell. You felt so much all at once and you knew your tears were soaking his robes.
"Ani, you're here." You muttered, pulling him closer to you even though you were as close as possible.
His voice was wet with tears, "Yeah, I'm here Y/n. You're here too. We're here together."
You smiled even bigger and whispered, "I love you, I love you so so much."
He kissed your forehead and repeated your words right before smaller arms wrapped around you both. You held Ashoka and Auren close to your body's for who knows how long.
Then you placed and hand on the side of each of their faces and turned to them.
"I'm sorry, I'm so so sorry."
Their eyes and cheeks were red and glossy. As Auren reached up and wiped a tear away from your red cheek.
"Stop it, I'm just glad your here."
You smiled at her reassurance and pulled them into a hug. Anakin's arm wrapped around your back and after a minute Obi-Wan joined you all.
Knees, weak. Head, hurting. Eyes, falling. You smiled at Obi-Wan before your eyes closed again.

You opened your eyes in another hospital bed. It wasn't the same one from the ship. It wasn't the same one you jumped up from to hug Anakin. Now, you were in the hospital at the Jedi temple. Sitting up, you rubbed your pounding head.
"Y/n!"
A hand was on your shoulder and you swiped it down. Pinning it to the bed, you reached over and grabbed whoever's neck was there. You pushed them into the wall before you looked up and your heart sank.
