Uriel growled. "I'll show you what I'll stick up your ass!" He started toward me only to be pulled back by Raphael.

I giggled at his behavior. "It ain't anything impressive. That's for sure."

"Persephone!" Liam and Zayn yelled. Niall's cheeks reddened in embarrassment. Louis' laughter bounced off the marble walls.

Gabriel shook his head. "I would appreciate it if we wouldn't talk of such things. I expect more out of both of you. Especially, you." He looked pointedly at Uriel. "Whatever childish qualms you have with this young lady will have to be put to rest. And Persephone, don't add fuel to his fire."

I shrugged. Gabriel smiled lightly accepting my cooperation before turning to and outraged Uriel.

Now that I was left alone, my senses was beginning to recoop. Something is nagging me. I just can't figure out what. I ran through today's events mentally. I'm missing something...I assessed the room and the people in it. Or more like someone. I walked toward my boys and mentally counted. One, two, three, four. Niall, Liam, Louis, and Zayn. Where is Harry? Louis sent me a quizzical look. I ignored his probing gaze to turn mine to the Council. "Where is he?" I whispered. My boys stiffened and shared weary looks. Louis reached toward me. "Now, Persephone..."

I shrugged off his hand. But just as quickly Louis grabbed my shoulder and yanked me toward hims roughly. I stared furiously into his eyes. He sent me a warning gaze before lightly raising his finger and pressing it against his lips. I narrowed my gaze.

The sudden movement made Gabriel turn his attention back to us. He raised a brow at our compromising position. Louis sent him a thin lipped smile before dragging me out of there. I wiggled roughly in an futile attempt to escape. Louis turned a couple of corners before heading into a hallway with a couple of doors. He grabbed the doorknob and yanked it open and tossed me inside. I scrambled back to my feet eyeing Louis warily. "Where is he? Where is Harry, Louis?"

He ignored my questions as he paced across the carpet. I bristled with annoyance. "Where is he? Louis. Answer me! Where. Is. Harry?!" I screamed.

Louis quickly turned toward me. "I. Don't. Know! Damn it!"

The door burst open as Liam, Zayn, and Niall filed in. Zayn looked at us. "Hey, why did you guys just bail out lik-What's going on? What's wrong?"

I turned toward him. "Where's Harry?"

Zayn's expression hardened and he looked down. Liam stiffened before shaking his head. Louis cleared his throat. "He's gone."

"Gone? Like...dead?" I held my chest as it tightened up at the thought. Louis shook his head. I threw my hands up in exasperation. "Then what do you mean by gone?"

Liam sighed. "Gone as in MIA. He deserted us, Seph."

My eyes widened as I held my stomach. I shook my head. "No."

Niall's eyes were oozing sympathy. "It's true. He left us."

Liam sat down heavily on the couch. "As soon as he saw the Council's plans, he bailed out. And left us to deal with them."

I continuously shook my head. Angry at my refusal to accept, Louis snapped. "Get your head out of your ass, Persephone! He's gone! And he is probably never coming back! Harry left us to deal with his past! He wasn't ready to deal with his demons and he cowardly ran away with his bloody tail between his legs!"

"No! Lies!" I held my hands to my ears.

"It's reality. And you bloody damn well learn to accept it." Louis spat out.

I raised my fist and punched him away from me. "Shut the fuck up!"

Louis staggered back from the impact while holding his jaw. His eyes flashed before he charged toward me. I held my arms up in defense. He just grabbed my forearms and slammed me against the brick wall. My head knocked hard and pain rang through my forehead. I growled before grabbing onto his bicep and yanking him into the wall beside me. I grabbed his hair from the back and slammed his face harder into the wall.

"Stop it! Guys!" A pair of hands pulled me back and away from Louis. Breathing heavily, I only glared toward Louis as he turned toward me. "You are an ignorant and wishful girl."

"I could say the same for you. For all of you."

Louis rolled his eyes. "Come back to reality. The reality where people make empty promises. Where brothers murder brothers and girls sell their bodies for the chance to see another day. Where people have to choose between whether they should eat or pay their rent. Life is not on your side! People leave you, betray you and deceive you. Sometimes because they have no choice. Sometimes because they don't know any better. And sometimes just for the hell of it. Get that through your head!"

"You make it seem as if I have never felt pain or despair or even loss. I have. We all have. And I know life isn't a dream. More than half of mine has been a fucking nightmare. But, if there is one thing I have learned in my lifespan is this. I have to have faith. And I have in all of you. I have faith in Harry. You didn't hear his scream of agony and pain. They hurt him. I don't know how but they did. All the council has done to him is torture him, strip him of his title because of something trivial and then pimp him to do their dirty work. Would you blame him for leaving? I don't. And how do you not know they don't have him chained in a dungeon somewhere. Harry brought you guys into his mess. Harry may be many things but he isn't someone to ditch his friends especially when they need him the most. He loves us! And the fact that you guy's trust in him is so easily wavering is astonishing. If you wanna put your trust in the word of these two-faced bastards, by all means. Have at it. But I won't stand debating this you all any longer. I'm going to find out for myself."

I pushed through them heading for the door. Louis bit his lip. "Persephone, wait."

Zayn reached out to me,but I flinched out of his reach. "Don't touch me." I yanked open the door and headed to the marble chamber. I'm coming for you, Harry.
