My group was sitting to the right of me. They put a bunch of cafeteria tables together somehow so that they all could sit together. Zane was sitting with Andre in his lap. Sol has his arm around Aearel. Across from them was Sasha and Austin who were engaged in a conversation with Damian. The twins and Lucas were still gone. Austin smirked when he saw me. Sasha smiled in my direction while the rest waved me over. I was about to start over to them when an familiar scent hit me. A scent that I knew intimately and it wasn't from the Midnight Pack.

I paused before I turned to face them. There standing in the middle of the lunch room was my brother Jaxon and his best friend Dimitri. Along with some random kids. Rai gasped and shrank into me. I wrapped a comforting arm around her and pushed her behind me. My eyes never left Jaxon and Dimitri though. Suddenly, the cafeteria was eerily silent. The only group of people left talking were Jaxon and Co.

Looking up in confusion, Jaxon eyes wandered over me. Once he met my fiery gaze, his eyes widened. The initial shock was quickly forgotten as a slow sadistic smile spread his face that made a shiver crawl up my spine. The anger that rose at the sight of them quickly melted down into fear. I was scared. So scared to death of them. My limbs froze and the only thing that seemed to function was my heart beat. I'm not ready. I can't...I can't face them yet.

Jaxon's smile turned into a sneer as he probably knew this too. How could I have been so stupid to think I wouldn't run into them. The Midnight Pack was the strongest but also a close ally with Alexander's pack. They were neighboring packs. The only thing separating their lands was a 37 mile wide and 10,000 mile long of unclaimed/human territory. Of course, they would go to the same schools. I just didn't put two and two together when I heard the school name. Lakewater High. Home of the Wolves. I'm so stupid and soooo screwed.

"Well well well. Look what we have here. Long time, no see Persephone. Nice to see you again. Dad is going to be so thrilled when I bring him your head."

About seven wolves whose face I vaguely remember stood and started toward me. I recognized two of them as the kids that held me down when Jaxon carved into my arm. That was when I got control of my limbs. I threw my stuff at two of them knocking them out. I grabbed Rai and threw her toward the table full of my friends. Sasha sprang to action and caught her. There . No one is going to get hurt but me and him.

Fury spread through my limbs as my body shook. Luckily this was a mostly werewolf school (with the occasional human but they were familiars)A/n:Familiars are human families who are associated with werewolves. They have swear to keep our secret and in return are protected by werewolves from rogues. Killing a familiar equals killing a pack wolf. because I felt as if I was about ready to kill someone. The rage was building. All the anger I had before coming to play. I felt the beast-my beast that was arising ever since the fight with the rogues in the clearing. My hybrid. And just like my hybrid, I thirsted for blood.

One wolf charged toward me. I quickly sprang to action. I decided to just use my fists. I wouldn't waste my power on a job this easily. A/n:I am too lazy to write a fight scene if she is just going to kick nameless people's ass. Without a second thought, I kicked and punched and clawed my way through all of them. Instinct mixed with pure anger guided my movements as I beat all of them down. One by one. Soon, it was just me standing with seven bodies of knocked out goons around me. All of them lying face down with at least two limbs fractured. I cracked knuckles as I sneered at Jaxon. Dimitri looked at me with an empty expression, but his eyes shone with pride.

Is that all you got? Come on, at least let it be a challenge. I snarled at Jaxon. "Well hello, asshat. Nice to see you too. I love the welcome party you assembled. Really heartwarming. A total knock out."
