I sighed running a hand through my hair as I looked at myself in the mirror. My eyes flashed a soulless obsidian before returning to their normal innocent blue. I nearly jumped at the sight. Holy shi-Reaching over to the faucet, I turned on the water and splashed my face. After I shut off the water, I watched my reflection warily. As if to tease me, my eyes shifted from black to blue slowly with a crazy red ring around the iris. I leaned closer to the bathroom mirror to get a better look. "Holy shi-"

"Sephy? You in the bathroom?"

My back straightened immediately at the sound of Zayn's voice outside the door. I looked over to the bathroom door. "Y-yeah."

"Oh okay. The Arch Angels want to see you to go over the war plan."

I sighed. Damn. A girl can't get any one-on-one time with herself. I spared one last look in the mirror before heading out of the bathroom.

When I reached the war room door, I raised a hand and knocked on it lightly.

"Who is it?"

"Room service." I answered in a high pitched prissy voice.

The door opened and I was greeted by a broad expanse of muscular chest. I tilted my head back to meet the intense gaze of Kaden. I grinned broadly and waved. "Hello, stranger. I haven't seen you in a while."

His eyes softened in response and moved back to let me in. He looked over his shoulder. "Persephone."

I squeezed by the hulking man and walked forward to the table where everyone was watching me from. I raised a brow at them. "Take a picture. It'll last longer."

Uriel crossed his arms. "Well, if someone knew how to be on time- ouch!" He rubbed his neck where Zadkiel clapped his hand harshly against it. After turning around to glare at the man, Uriel moved away from him watching him warily.

I internally smirked. "Hello to you too, Uriel. Did you miss me?"

"Like I missed him." He jerked his thumb to point toward Michael who raised a brow at the man.

"You missed me?! Awe. I missed you too." Michael pounced onto the unsuspecting Uriel wrapping a strong arm around his shoulders before attempting to suffocate him with his suit jacket. Niall, Louis, and Zayn chuckled at the Devil's antics. Harry, however, seemed less than amused.

I heard a sigh to my left and I looked over to meet the gaze of Andromeda and Andreas. I walked over to greet them. "It's been a while since I have seen you two. How are you?"

Andromeda smiled politely. "Anxious. From what I hear, you're starting a war."

"No. Maleficent already started the war the day she involved my family in this. I'm just finishing it." My fist clenched at the thought of my brother.

Andreas laid a hand on my shoulder in an effort to comfort me. "About that. I'm truly sorry for your loss. We are keeping your brother in pristine condition until you are ready to lay him to rest."

I reached up to pat his hand before gently pushing his hand away. "Thank you..." I nodded toward Daxton and his group before turning my attention to the Arch Angels. "So...whats the plan?"

The sun blazed through the trees as slightly blinded me as I silently moved through the ran through the brush. It was such a beautiful sight that it almost pained me to slit the throat decapitate the unsuspecting vampire scouting for intruders. His blood splatter against the tree and I crouch low listening for anyone else as I head for the dungeons. As much as it pains me, I must stick to the plan. My job is to free my family. If everything runs as smoothly as its supposed to, we can have my pack out of harms way before they even know their under attack. I masked my scent and peered around the tree and spotted the secret trap door I previously used when I wanted to visit Dimitri. Two demons stood at their post watching the forest around them cautiously. I guess there is no easy approach other than head on.

My eyes connected with Zayn's and Louis' before I dashed to the door with them hot on my trail. I took my sword and dodged the demon's attack before quickly stabbing it in the heart. I looked back to see Zayn and Louis had already killed the other demon. I turn back around and break the lock before pulling open the door. A dark deep hole that stunk of death almost made me gag. Switching on my night vision, I walked passed the threshold. The tunnel was long and damp. I beckoned the reluctant were-panthers forward as I move quickly through the tunnel. I watched as the tunnel walls suddenly changed from dirt to stone and halted. I heard the boys behind me stop as well. I raised a hand to signal them that we were close to the door. I felt along the cold moist brick wall and located where I would turn the corner. I followed the wall making sure to stick close to the wall as I spotted the wooden door. With light steps, I creeped over and kneeled to pick the lock.

"How are you going to pick the lock? You don't have the proper tools." I heard Zayn whisper.

I scoffed. "Who said I needed the 'proper tools'?" I called to my inner beast by dark thoughts. I imagined all the pain and suffering the pack had gone through because of me. I felt my teeth elongate and my nails sharpened into talons. I reached up and with two talons I carefully and successfully picked the lock and opened the door. I spared a glance over my shoulder to wink at Zayn and Louis before standing up straight and heading inside.

The familiar sight of the long lonely corridor greeted me on the other side. It was dark and I could smell the stench of rotten flesh. Death permeated in the air around us and my hackles rose in awareness. Cells with silver bars were on each wall facing us. Inside each cell, I could make out the outline of bodies-people. A male demon with a face that resembled a piranha was patrolling up and down the way. I stepped closer and a smirk slowly stretched across my face. I reached behind me and drew my seraph katana silently loving the sound of my blade leaving it's sheath. The creature froze and slowly turned toward me. Bug-like bloodshot eyes with dilated pupils faced me. Isn't that a face only a mother could love. I grimaced in disgust at the sight of such a creature and as if the beast in front of me understood my expression bared its razor sharp teeth hunching over before barreling toward me. I expertly side stepped his attack and reached for the monster grabbing him by the back of the neck. I pulled him forward slamming him into the stone floor. The prisoners in the cells around us jumped at the noise. I deftly flipped over the creature and stabbed my blade deep in his sternum. Loud rapid footsteps reached us and slowly became louder as a group of soldiers rounded the corner. I removed my weapon and rose to my feet ready to face them. I grabbed the keys from the belt of the dead demon under me and tossed them over my shoulder. "Free the prisoners." I told Zayn and Louis. "I'll take care of this."

The creatures' hiss in outrage was my only warning of their attack. I spun and twirled in circles with demons in a beautiful dance of death. Heads rolled as eventually I dispatched them all. I looked back to see the prisoners looking toward me in awe. Some of them, I recognized as pack members from both packs. Louis and Zayn had freed them all and I smiled warmly toward them. "You're free now. Louis and Zayn will lead you to safety."

They smiled gratefully toward me and followed the two members of One Direction out of the wooden door. Well all except one. I raised a brow. "Rai? Is that you?"

She smiled before nodding. "Yep."

"Oh wow." I took in her tattered appearance. "I'm so sorry. It's my fault you are here."

"No, it isnt. All that matters is that you came for us. I wanna thank you for always saving me. And I wanna help."

I shook my head. "No. I can't le-"

"Please! I want to actually be useful." She reached and grabbed my hands pleading with me. Her wide eyes stared up at me begging for a chance.

Kinda reminds me of myself....I watched her for a moment before sighing at her defiance. I turned my back to her and beckoned her to follow. "Okay. Fine, but only this once-" Before I could finish my sentence, I felt something hit me in the back of my neck hard and the world around me went black.
