"What are you talking about Persephone?" asked Zadkiel. His eyes widened in surprise
"Did she stutter? She said that Maleficent tricked her! The blonde has nothing in her head, but bleached brain cells." Uriel sneered at me.
I growled and leaned forward with teeth bared in a threatening manner. I could feel my power rise up in response. My canines on the bottom and the top grew a little longer and sharpened to a point."Watch it, Councilman. I tore your ass up once and I'll do it again."
A warm hand grabbed my shoulder in a restricting manner. "Take a chill pill, Seph. As you Americans say it...we have bigger fish to fry." Liam warned with underlining humor. Liam's right. I need to calm down. I reached up and grabbed his hand as a life line. He squeezed my hand back comfortingly. I stepped back and relaxed my posture.
Uriel smirked in triumph. I rolled my eyes before turning my gaze back onto Gabriel. "She has now kidnapped my pack. She won't stop. She won't. Not until she destroys my entire reason to exist. She wants me to beg for death. That's what the letter said. She wants me to beg to join the rest of my family so when she tortures me to the brink of death, she can still ensure that I will be miserable forever! I don't care what your plan is. That bitch needs to die."
"And we care about that because..." Uriel commented.
"Uriel!" Gabriel sharply reprimanded.
I shook my head to Gabriel and turned to Uriel."She seeks to overthrow Michael and the Council. She wants to kill all of you and rule the fucking universe. This has the potential of damning the soul of this world." I raised a brow. "Is it worth your concern now?"
Uriel bit his lip but narrowed his eyes knowing that he just put his foot in his mouth. Gabriel raised a brow before nodding in agreement. "If this is true, then we have no other choice. We need to kill her."
"While this is all interesting and very good to hear, I have a question. Why in the bloody hell does the woman have control of hellish flames?" Daxton asked incredulously.
I turned to Daxton with a raised brow. "Hellish flames? You mean my fire?"
Harry chuckled behind me. "It's apart of her powers. She can not only control the hellish flames, she controls the wind, the earth and the sea."
"The Blessed Initia. She is the carrier." Gabriel's eyes glazed over as he looked upon me with awestruck eyes.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa. The last time I checked, only God could control the initia. You know, with the pillar of flames and pillar of clouds and parting the red sea and all that shit." Uriel inquired.
"He must have blessed her beyond words. With powers no living soul has ever laid eyes upon. Ever wonder why her name was Persephone?" Chamuel stated matter-of-factly.
Funny thats exactly what Michael said. Oh wow. But wait. My name? My mother named me. Did she know something all this time?" But that would mean my mother knows. That explains alot actually. She always told me that I was special."
"But who cares about some hybrid freak? Now a hybrid freak bestowed with the power only God is known to have, that is something to turn heads." Uriel remarked snidely.
