There was a pregnant pause. I stood there piercing my gaze on every single male in the room. I would say man,but I doubt any of them could be considered a man at this point.
Gabriel ran a hand through his hair. "Persephone. We don't know."
I glared at him. "Bullshit."
Daxton stood up and rolled his shoulders at my disrespect. "You better watch your mouth before I will have to watch it for you." I raised a brow at his challenge. He took a step forward only to be stopped by Zadkiel's long thick arm.
Zadkiel met my gaze. "Please, be calm. We tell no lie. We have no idea where Harold has gone."
I snorted. Gabriel looked at us. "You do not trust us. But I assure you that we have no idea where Harold is."
I asked. "If that is true, then what happened when you kidnapped all of us, huh?"
Raphael raised a brow. "I don't know what you mean?"
I bit my lip, thinking about it. "I remember. A bright light washed around us then I heard him scream in agony. He was in pain, Gabriel. What did you do to him to make him feel that much pain, huh? And don't lie to me either."
Raphael shared a look with Gabriel. Gabriel nodded his head and Raphael answered me. "When we sent a group to retrieve you, Harry fought against them. Emanuel had no choice but to bind him in holy chains."
I sighed."And let me guess, that's what caused him to be in pain."
Raphael nodded. "Yes. It causes severe burns to demons."
I slammed my hand the table in anger. I grabbed a chair and tossed it to the wall. It shattered into pieces. I turned toward them with teeth bared. "Haven't you all caused him enough grief already?! Jesus!"
Raphael chose to ignore my outburst and continued with his explanation."While it did cause him pain, it wasn't strong enough to contain him. Emanuel tried what he could, but Harry was able to break free from the holy bindings and escape."
I ran a hand through my hair exasperated. "So you don't know where he is? Or what he could be doing?" They shook their heads. I sighed. God, Harry. You, dumb ass. "I should have known. Gawd, I'm so stupid." I began to pace back and forth.
Gabriel looked up in question. "And what is it? Please fill us in."
I paused and met his gaze. "This is Harry we are talking about. And if he broke free then he is probably going to do something extremely stupid."
He raised a brow. "Define stupid?"
I sighed. "Something stupid like trying to fight off his father and every other thing trying to hurt me. He is going to try to finish this. And he wants to do it without involving anyone else. He wants to keep everyone else safe."
Unable to keep silent anymore, Liam growled. "Shut up, Sephy."
I looked back at him. "What did you just say?"
"Shut the hell up, Persephone!" Liam exclaimed.
"And why in the hell should I, huh?"I spit back.
Liam sighed. "You need to face the facts, Persephone. Harry left because he was a coward. Stop trying to paint him in light when he belongs in the shadows."
I walked up to him and poked him in the chest."Now it is time for you to shut the hell up. You know him and you heard what he said before all of this. They were using him against his own father because he is the only thing Michael hasn't killed. And now that Harry knows that the Council has a hidden agenda from the get-go, he knew he dragged all of us into his mess. So he will finish this so no more blood is spilled besides his own."
Gabriel cleared his throat in a futile attempt to gain my attention. I didn't break my stare down with Liam though, and Gabriel understood I wasn't going to so he decided to speak anyway. "If this is true, what do you expect us to do."
I narrowed my gaze on Liam but spoke to Gabriel. "We need to find him, now. Before he tries to gain Michael's attention." A muscle in Liam's jaw flexed in annoyance and anger. I bared my teeth in dominance. "The last thing we need is Harry getting captured when we will need him most."
"So we find him." Gabriel said.
"But how?" Raphael inquired. "You and I both know that when Harry doesn't want to be found, he won't be."
Chamuel nodded agreeing with Raphael."We've been looking since we have brought you all here and have failed."
Oh wow. For Angels they sure lack in faith."If that is true then there is only one place he could be." I commented.
The men looked up at me. Uriel sent me a glare and crossed his arms."And where is that?" he asked condescendingly.
I smirked. "Hell."
