Roughly twelve hours after you'd finally gotten your well-deserved sleep, you woke up. You woke up on your own and not from the horrible sound your alarm made each morning. If you'd slept through it because of how exhausted you'd been, you suspected at first but after you picked up your data pad you saw that it had been disabled. Definitely not by you, either.
There was a message from Kylo: 'Come down to P37, whenever you are ready.'
Apparently, he had admin rights over every person's data pad on board. First, he invaded your head and now he was deleting your alarms?
"Tsk, tsk, tsk," you made, shaking your head. It didn't bother you, but if you would have those rights you probably would have abused your power once or twice already just to annoy someone you didn't like. Then again, if you would actually have admin rights, you probably couldn't be bothered with such shenanigans.
The bandage Kylo had put on the night earlier was well done. It was clean and what had drained from it looked good. He'd done a good job helping you but you wished that he hadn't at all. He could read your mind, delete your alarm clocks but you did not want any help from him. Especially not him, but you also didn't want help from anyone else for that matter. It hurt your pride more than you wanted to admit.
The elevator down to P37 had already been fixed and PK-2333 and PK-2334 greeted you. You'd been getting closer with them. They were friendly, helped you wherever they could and joked around a lot when no superior was around. Apart from that, they were immediately by your side when one of the prisoners decided to act up. You could rely on them, and that's what mattered most.
They weren't joking around this morning and from how stiff they were, you figured that Kylo was around.
"Good morning, Sir," you said and Kylo turned around quickly, startled by your sudden appearance.
"You are sneaking up on me again, Doc."
"I didn't mean to, Sir. I thought you'd have heard me...sensed me or something."
He mustered you, staring at your face especially long. It wasn't exactly fair; he could read your thoughts and you couldn't even read his facial expressions through his mask.
"Normally, I sense people." He typed in the code for Mr Stares' cell.
Mr Stares did what he always did. He was unbothered by the Supreme Leader until he saw you. You gave him a small wave and an obnoxious grin from behind Kylo's broad shoulders to taunt the poor man even further. Kylo looked at you and you immediately dropped your smile and stood as straight as possible; military position, hands behind your back, eyes forward.
Kylo ignored it and the both of you took a step back so 2333 and 2334 could drag Mr Stares into the interrogation room.
"I thought you were done with the prisoners, Sir."
"Some new information came up." He had his arms crossed and looked down at you. "I need you to be close to him when I give the command."
You nodded, getting nervous about the new job you were getting. Why did you have to get closer? He'd mentioned once that it had been easier to get inside his mind when you were around, but surely your impact on Mr Stares couldn't be that great?
Kylo did his...thing, whatever it was that he did with his hand and turning it and the prisoner started to scream. N°12's face was distorted and he wasn't screaming in frustration but out of pain. Kylo reading your mind normally didn't hurt, in fact you didn't even feel it.
Then Kylo stepped aside and you forward. Mr Stares' eyes widened in fear and you didn't really know what to do, so you just stood there. His face was red, he was breathing irregularly and heavy and he was sweating so bad, that it had started to drip down. You turned to Kylo, unsure what to do. He was standing behind you, arms crossed. What were you supposed to do? Just stand there? That's what he had told you but—
