A loud cracking sound interrupted the momentary silence as the officer was thrown against the wall. Kylo shouted in anger, drew his lightsaber and slashed at the walls of the conference room. Two of the three members of the Supreme Council took steps back while Hux remained still by your side. He'd his hands folded behind his back, a look on his face signalling a mixture between boredom and second-hand embarrassment.

You didn't bother to interfere, from where you were standing you could see the officer had only a broken leg. Nothing that'd need immediate attention. He wouldn't die in the next five minutes while Kylo continued raging and it'd keep the damage to the ship lower, if you wouldn't interfere. Something within you wondered just when you'd stopped caring about the medical aspects of your job so much.

As he still did not show any signs of stopping, Hux nudged you with his elbow and you sighed quietly under your helmet and took a step forward.

"Kylo," you said, loud enough for him to hear and take a pause for a moment. You couldn't rationalise with him now. You couldn't ask him what he wanted to do, who he wanted on the task or which steps he wanted to be taken next. He was burning with anger and all of the commands he'd give you would be borderline useless, so, instead all you said was: "I'm on it."

Kylo's ribcage was rapidly moving up and down from the rather exhausting task of causing more damage to the First Order's ships than the Resistance had managed to, but he put his lightsaber away and supported his weight with one hand on the wall.

You nodded towards the door and all the members of the council left the room. Only Kylo, you and the poor fellow that'd just earned himself a retirement fund two times his pay grade remained. The latter was hardly conscious and unresponsive but the same could be said for Kylo.

You approached him, carefully extending a hand and laying it on his shoulder. He didn't seem to be quite there, stared ahead into space and then jerked his head around and put distance between you two. You watched him for a couple more seconds, debated trying again but you knew him well enough by now that all he wanted was to be left alone, so, you shrugged and turned to the officer in need of medical attention. Alright, the news that somewhere within the First Order higher ranks was a spy, weren't good, but not bad enough to deny you the absolutely amazing sex the two of you usually had after one of his outbursts of anger.

"Let's get you fixed up," you whispered to the officer who was on the verge of passing out. You shouldered the man and carried him outside into the medical centre. You could always approach him again, see if he was more in the mood for it later.

He wasn't.

But you got a message that said: 'I am sorry for earlier.' The Supreme Leader, apologising for one of his outbursts. You smiled at it, unbothered. Stress was running high for the both of you at the moment, but you made it work without getting into a fight with each other. The Resistance and its fighters had to suffer all the more in turn, though. Oh, and how the spy would suffer once Ushar got his hands on them...he was good at this sort of stuff and he'd immediately gotten to work.

'Don't worry about it,' you replied and added a: 'about either of those things. Ushar is already on the search.'

'Good call.' You received back almost immediately and then, sadly, also a: 'Can you replace Ushar?'

Ushar had been on Chirna up till now. If you pulled him away from his duty to search for spies, he needed replacement. You'd have agreed immediately, if you wouldn't have just come back from your home planet. Somehow, that's where you'd spent most of your time recently. You were a local and your expertise was frequently required, even in matters you had no idea about.
