How you made it through the hallways, into the elevator to the top floors and back into Kylo's corridor, you didn't know. You kept counting, becoming faster every so often, then skipping numbers.

"559, 552, 545—" You bumped into someone and almost fell down but the other person held you up.

"MD-2442," General Hux said, voice first with a disgusted undertone, then changing o a worried one. "You're freezing."

You really weren't concerned about that at the moment. He helped you up and when you'd regained some form of balance, you grabbed him by the shoulders. "General. You must help me."

"I don't think—"

"You need to."

You didn't wait for a confirmation, grabbed his arm and pulled him into the med bay. You searched through a drawer where all your current medication was stored in. It had to be one of them. You had to take an entire cocktail of medication for about a week and, unlike what you did normally, hadn't bothered to read through the endless lists of side effects and interdependencies. You tossed package after package on the floor, before finally giving up and throwing disinfectant wipes and new bandages at the General.

"What happened?" he asked, catching the things and putting them down on the bed next to him.

"I can't let that happen again! Once was too much already!"

"Do you mean what happened with Dr Red?"

"Yes! It has to be a side effect. I knew it said it somewhere. I can't counteract any of the medication that is already in my system but I can remove the salve and medication pump on my back and then I will look further."

"Don't you need that medication?"

"If I have one more vivid hallucination and kill even more—"

"Did you kill someone else?" he was concerned now, taking a step back.

"Almost. Cardo and Usha—"

"You killed two Knights of Ren?"

"I said 'almost'. No, they're unconscious. They'll be fine. Actually, I don't know. Scratch that, just get these fucking things off my back. It's the only thing that I can do right now!" You moved your top up, not entirely stripping out of it, but enough so that your entire back was accessible. Right now, you didn't care if Hux, or anyone else, saw you in your underwear.

Hux's face turned red and he froze up, only his eyes moved along your body. They stopped on your chest and at the scar from the shrapnel wound. You'd have mocked him for the way he stared at you, if you would have had the mental capacity to. You were still agitated, only half in the present and progressively becoming colder. You couldn't return to the force, every time you tried, you started hearing blaster fire again and the edges of your vision became blurry. The void you'd kept up subconsciously too, but now found yourself just as incapable of collapsing it as you were able to stop the hallucinations.

You turned around, so he could get to your back. "Rip the pump and bandage off, wipe the salve away and if I, for some reason, should lose it again, just knock me out."

"I will not do either of those things."

You turned back around. "No, you will. You have to."

"Do you not realise how this looks?"

You didn't, and also, you didn't care. You needed to get rid of that medication, it was your last resort at regaining the control you were about to lose any moment. "Please, General."

"No. Ren is going to think something weird is going on and kill me."

"I don't care what Kylo thinks! Just relieve me of this—"
