Chapter 15

The freakout at the hospital spread like wildfire, capturing the attention of news outlets across the city. The extensive damage inflicted upon the room and the surrounding structure became the center of media attention. Fissures of charred concrete sprawled outward, extending for 40 to 50 feet from the shattered window.

When a source leaked that the cause of the accident was the boy who had defeated All For One, within hours, the media descended upon the hospital entrance like a swarm of vultures, hungry for every juicy detail. Katsuki despised the presence of these vultures, their cameras flashing relentlessly as he emerged from his distinct black Nissan R34 Skyline. Handing his keys to the valet, he made a deliberate effort to ignore the mob of reporters shouting questions at him.

"Dynamight! Are you here to apprehend Deku, the boy who participated in the war three years ago? Is there a chance he was a villain all along, seeking vengeance?"

His fists clenched, Katsuki took a deep breath, desperately attempting to rein in his seething anger. He knew he had to be cautious with his words, lest they spark another scandal. The last thing he needed was more attention on Izuku, drawing the gaze of potential threats like the League of Villains, who most definitely would love to get their grimy hands on him.

He was determined  to walk through the crowd without engaging, pressing forward, his jaw clenched tightly. However, the relentless voices of the reporters continued to assault him, their words growing increasingly hostile.

"Sources say multiple Pro Heroes were seen entering the building in the past week. If Deku poses such a threat because of One For All, why hasn't he been locked up?" This stopped Katsuki dead in his tracks, someone else chimed in, "Yeah, the heroes need to throw him in the Abyss before he becomes another All For One! The League would love to mold him into their next villain."

"Lock him away forever!"

"Throw him in the Abyss!"

That name echoed in Katsuki's mind. The Abyss was known for its inhumane conditions and extreme isolation, making it one of the most feared prisons in the world. It was undeniably worse than Tartrus. You held no nationality, as it was anchored in the middle of the ocean. It was said that once you were sent there, you were wiped for existence. It is reserved for only the most dangerous and notorious criminals.

"He probably deserves it!" others chimed in as the crowd bombarded him with accusations and demands, the hostile atmosphere thickening with each passing second. Katsuki's rage reached its boiling point, causing him to wheel around, his eyes blazing with fury, "Who the fuck said that?!"

The crowd recoiled instinctively, well aware of his notorious reputation for destroying film equipment. His hot-headedness and impulsiveness were legendary, yet no one could deny his undeniable talent. Despite his explosive temper, he remained the most sought-after hero for camera appearances in the industry.

Katsuki carefully selected exclusive interviews that would benefit his career, knowing that his loyal fans would eagerly consume any content featuring him. His limited-edition merchandise items flew off the shelves within minutes of their release.

There was one incident when Katsuki had lost a bet with the Bakusquad, resulting in him modeling for Vogue. The headline read, "Bakugo Katsuki, the Hottest Hero Alive." It became one of the highest-selling issues in the history of Vogue magazine.
