Chapter 50

Katsuki held onto Izuku like his life depended on it, ignoring the biting pain in his arm. He shot a look of pure disdain at those godforsaken restraints, despising every inch of them for holding Izuku captive for so long. Izuku's eyes remained on him, quietly observing with uncertainty. Katsuki nodded, backing up Kirishima's logic. Getting the hell out of this mess was the top priority;  then they could deal with the shackles.

Shinsou inhaled deeply, regaining his composure as he scanned the dire scene. "We'll have to fight our way out," he declared. "We need to clear a path and make a strategic retreat."

Shoto's icy quirk enveloped his body, his gaze focused. "Stay close and follow my lead, I mostly remember the way back out," he instructed, taking a step forward. "We'll use our quirks to create openings and neutralize any threats."

Kirishima's muscles tensed, his resolve settling. "I'll be your shield," Kirishima shouted, hardening his body as he took the foremost position in the formation. "I'll protect Bakugo and Midoriya and ensure we all get out of here safely."

Tokoyami and Dark Shadow, sensing the urgency of the situation, prepared themselves for battle, switching from offensive to defensive. "We shall assist as well," Tokoyami stated, his voice echoing as he fell back merging into the formation. "Dark Shadow and I will provide support and cover. From the rear "

As a team, they began their fight to escape the hideout. The hallways were filled with chaos as villains scrambled to intercept them. Katsuki was the last line of defense as explosions lit up the surroundings, creating chaotic bursts of power that sent any bastards daring to approach flying.

Shoto's ice encased their enemies, creating barriers and hindering their movements. His precise control allowed him to neutralize threats without causing harm to his friends.

Kirishima stood at the frontlines, his hardened skin acting as an impenetrable shield against attacks. He charged forward without hesitation, taking on multiple assailants, deflecting their attacks, and creating openings for his comrades to exploit.

Shinsou's brainwashing quirk was a tactical masterpiece, manipulating the minds of their foes and turning them against each other. His ability to control and confuse their enemies proved invaluable in creating opportunities for escape.

Tokoyami and Dark Shadow fought in tandem, their dark energy engulfing opponents and striking from unexpected angles. The combination of their powers created a nightmarish vortex that disoriented and overpowered their adversaries.

Katsuki hated to admit it, but they made one hell of a team. They were a force to be reckoned with amidst the swarm of villains that dared to challenge them.

Together, they tore through the hideout's defenses one floor at a time, their teamwork and grit shining through as they slowly cleared their path up the stairway to freedom. Each step brought them closer to the exit, their limited memories of the route guiding their movements.

Amidst the chaos and the clash of quirks, their priority remained clear: protect Izuku at all costs and ensure their escape.

As explosions rocked the space and debris filled the air, Izuku's eyes darted around frantically, processing the overload of information. Whenever a threat bypassed their defenses, Izuku would tense into Katsuki, who responded with explosive fury, showing no mercy to those who dared to come close.

Nobody, and Katsuki meant nobody, was laying a damn finger on Izuku, not if he had anything to say about it.

Approaching the second-floor exit, the grueling battle left their bodies battered and drained. Fifteen minutes of all-out war had drained them dry. Muscles screamed, lungs gasped, but they trudged on, way past their limits. There was no backing down in the face of danger, giving up was not an option.
