"Okay, this is it," Shoto said, looking around cautiously, as he finished getting the green light from the hero's association, they were reluctant to allow such a reckless plan until Shoto mentioned that Katsuki was going in with or without their approval. "We have to be careful. We don't know what we're walking into."
As Shoto laid out the plan, Katsuki's sharp gaze swept across their surroundings. The anticipation coursed through him, coiling like a tightly wound spring. His fists clenched, knuckles cracking audibly.
"I don't care," he declared, his voice a low growl. "We have to find Deku, and I'm going to take down anyone who gets in our fucking way."
The group had committed to going undercover, donning disguises to avoid raising suspicions within the League. They had equipped themselves with trackers, a safety net in case any of them were compromised or kidnapped.
Standing outside the entrance of the Red Lotus, Shoto scanned their surroundings with a cautious eye. He adjusted his shirt, his icy gaze focused on the dimly lit entrance.
"Alright, remember the plan," Shoto reiterated. "We spread out and gather as much information as we can without drawing attention, Shinsou will try to intercept the target. We don't engage in any fights unless absolutely necessary."
Katsuki's impatience seethed beneath the surface as he cracked his knuckles with an audible pop. "Yeah, yeah, I got it. Let's just get this over with."
One by one, they entered the nightclub, slipping into the crowd as they observed the unfamiliar environment. The pulsating music thumped loudly, drowning out most conversations. The air was thick with a mix of excitement and tension.
Shinsou, disguised as a club-goer, gravitated toward the bar, subtly scanning the area for any signs of their elusive target. Tokoyami remained stationed near the bouncer, his dark eyes vigilantly surveying the entrance and the crowd. Kirishima headed straight for the dance floor, blending effortlessly into the writhing mass of bodies.
In the midst of the flashing lights and pulsing bass, Shoto's sharp eyes scanned the faces around them, searching for any hint of familiarity. The extremely crowded nightclub presented a formidable challenge, making it difficult to discern their target or any League members.
Katsuki's patience wore thin with each passing moment. His gaze darted ceaselessly from one face to the next, his senses on high alert. An unshakable feeling gnawed at him, an instinct that told him Izuku was nearby. His hands itched to explode, to unleash his fury on anyone who stood in his way. He made his way to the far end of the bar, intending to order a drink.
Shinsou watched as Katsuki pushed through the crowd snapping at people who gave him a hard time. He was hard to miss as he towered over the mass of bodies around him.
After ordering a drink he leaned against the bar, lost in his mess of thoughts as he watched the crowd.
Katsuki was at the bar for not even 10 minutes when a voice pierced through the sensory chaos, shattering his concentration, he halted in his tracks, his eyes narrowing like laser beams, pinpointing the source of the voice.
"Looking for someone?"
Before him stood a woman, her long dark hair cascading like a shadow, and eyes that seemed to pierce through the neon-lit haze. A sly grin danced upon her lips, her rosy cheeks betraying her intoxicated state. It was the very poison user they had tirelessly pursued.
