Episode 4: The Bridge

We got to the bridge. We started moving forward as the birds flew off. We jumped over a crashed truck and came across a huge hole in the bridge, going down is about four stories to hit water. "Not that far." Louis said.
"Yeah, i think we can. We just have to he careful not to land too hard..." Clem stopped as we heard distant singing.
"Never mind the darkness.

Never mind the storm.

Never mind the blood red moon."

We saw Minerva come from the woods, face and arms chewed up. "The night will be over soon." We saw her and Tenn immediately took a few steps forward. "I did it! I found you! Oh, Tenn... My sweet little brother. Come with me." She said.
"You're dying." Tenn said.
"Yes! Yes, I am. I'm finally going someplace better. I want you there with me." Minerva said. Tenn was buying it. "Tenn, look at me. I know that looks like her, but your sister is gone." Clem said. A gunshot was heard. "Don't you fucking speak to him! Any of you!" She pointed her pistol at us. We all went behind the truck. "Please... please, Minnie, stop!" Violet begged.
"Minnie, c'mon, stop!" Louis followed Violet.
"Don't do this!" Clementine said.
"Minerva, quit it!" I shouted. She wasn't listening, and Tenn wasn't either. I kicked him down. "We'll hold her off! Get the kids across!" I said.
"'We?'" Clem asked. I remembered I had nothing. "Well, shit. Louis, Violet, just get the kids across!"
"We'll get them across the gap. Just don't let the walkers get close." Louis said. Clem peeked over to shoot some walkers. "Aim for Minerva!" I told Clem. She tried shooting at Minerva, but she pulled a walker in front of her. "Damn!" I shouted. Louis came back. "AJ's across, but Tenn's not moving!" Violet said.
"Clem, we gotta stop her." I said. Clem peaked over and Minerva kicked her in the face. Clem rolled over and Minerva jumped down. A walker grabbed Clem's foot. Violet shot the walker. Minerva rammed into Violet. I punched Minerva in the same eye I punched her in earlier. I then grabbed her hair and slammed her head into the side of the bridge. "Just so you know, Violet regrets missing you." I whispered to her. She tried shooting me. I nabbed the gun and went to shoot her, but she punched me in the face. Minerva grabbed the axe and slashed my leg. "FUCK!!!" I shouted as I fell. "I'm taking Tenn home. I'm going home." Minerva was about of kill me, but she stumbled backwards when Clementine shot her in the chest. The walkers started to truly tear into her skin. "Minnie! Minnie!" Tenn was going to try to get to her. "You two, get across! We'll help Tenn!" Louis said.
"Go! " Violet said. Clem helped me up. "You first, sis!" I said. Clem leaped over and dropped the gun. I tossed over the axe and then jumped. AJ took the gun. "Louis, go!" Violet told him as sbe grabbed Tenn.
"No! We can take Tenn together!" Louis said. Violet let go of Tenn and pushed Louis back.
"Go!" She shouted.
"Let him go! You'll die if you don't!" AJ said to them. That's when we heard a gunshot. Tenn started gagging and blood started leaking from his neck. "No! No!" Louis exclaimed.
"Louis, Violet, jump!" Clem shouted. They both jumped over. The walkers ate Tenn. "What the fuck?!" Louis and Violet yelled at AJ. "How could you just shoot him like that?" Louis asked in anger.
"I had to! You'd never see your skylight, or Texas Two." AJ said.
"My skylight?" Louis asked.
"You think we give a damn about those? That sweet boy is fucking dead because of you!" Violet yelled.
"Look!" Louis made AJ face Tenn's body.
"I know how you're feeling, but now is not the time. We'll talk about this later when we're safe." Clem told then, but AJ told us, "There's nothing to talk about! I didn't want to shoot him. He was my first real friend. But he was messing up again like when he got Mitch killed." He said. I realized he was right. Tenn was dangerous. He could have gotten one or both of them killed. We saw walkers coming. "We have to go." I stated. I used the axe to stand. We went to a gate. "We'll climb over and help you guys." Louis said as he and Violet climbed over the gate. "BEHIND YOU!" I shouted.
"Oh, fuck!" Violet kicked a walker down. "Go! We'll find another way." Clem said. Violet and Louis nodded. They ran off into the woods, hopefully to the school. We saw a clear bath up a rock cliff. It was climbable. AJ and Clem made it there before me. Clem got AJ up. "Get up, Clem!" I told my sister.
"You're injured-"
"Fuck if I'm injured, go!" I interrupted her as I lifted Clem up onto my shoulders. I tossed the axe up as Clem climbed to the top. I started climbing as the walkers started closing in. Clem held her hand out. As I was about to grab it, a walker grabbed my leg. The walker's mouth went to my leg. I was praying my boot was strong enough to hold it back. AJ started shooting the walkers. I kicked the walker off my leg and I crawled up. I lied there on the ground. "Y/n...your leg." Clem said. I looked at leg. I saw the terrifying sight. "I was bitten." I said. I used the axe to prop myself up. "We don't have much time. We have to get somewhe-AAAH!" I shouted as I fell again. Clem and AJ helped me up. Clem looked around. "James' barn is close, and it should be empty. Lets go." Clem said. We started moving, me lagging behind a little bit due to my limp.
