Episode 2: A Shocking Return

Night was coming quicker than we thought. We were in the woods, Louis and Violet behind us. "Will we get another car?" AJ asked.
"Probably not. We got lucky before." Clem told him.
"So we're walking. My shoes are gonna break."
"They better hold out then." I said.
"My feet are gonna bleed again."
"We'll tear up a shirt and tie it up if we have to. Hell, I'll give you my shirt if I must." I told AJ.
Louis and Violet stopped. "This is where it goes. Road's that way." Violet said as she pointed in a direction. "I wish you could stay." She said.
"I wish we didn't fuck up." I said.
"We wish the best of luck. Both of you." Violet said. Louis looked at us. "I can't leave you out here unarmed." He gave the gun back to AJ. "I'll be taking that." I snatched it out of AJ's hands. "Sorry buddy."
"Thanks." Clem said. Louis and Violet started walking away. "The sun will set soon." Clem said.
"You have that cold that settles on your skin that feels cold as ice too?" I asked.
"Yeah."
"I don't feel it." AJ said.
"You haven't been on the road as long as we have." I said.
"Clem? Y/n?" AJ got our attention and tugged at Clem's arm. "Will we be okay?"
"Yeah. We'll be alright." I told him.
"We're used to this." Clem said. We heard a loud gunshot. We hid behind some trees. We saw a stranger. It was the guy that we let go at the station. "Thats the man from the train station?" AJ asked.
"Yeah. Stay here." I said. I jumped at the guy, pushing his gun away. He tried to punch me, but I dodged and immediately countered, punching his ass to the ground. "Tough motherfucker, aren't you?" He said.
"Walk away, asshat." I said. I felt a gun behind my head. I put my hands up. The man punched me in the chest, and whoever was behind me punched me to the ground. Clementine tried to run in to save me, but he stopped her too. He then saw AJ. "Abel." Whoever was holding me down said. I guess it was a woman. Abel, the older man walked to AJ. "Good to see ya again, squirt." He whacked AJ to the ground. "Don't!" Clem said.
"You'll like these two. Fighters both of them." Abel told the woman.
"We're looking for a kid. Marlon." The leader said.
"He's dead." Clementine told them.
"Well, shit." She said. "Take us back to your school."
"We do that, we die. And you probably will too." I told them.
"He's lying. Has to be." Abel said. He twister AJ's arm behind his back. "Don't! Let him go!" Clementine pleaded.
"Sure, if you do like we ask. Otherwise I'm happy to crack his head open." Abel said. The leader kicked Clementine over to her back. She sat up and looked up. "Oh my god. Clementine, it's you?" She said. "I...my name is Lilly." She said. I knew it. I knew I recognized her voice.
"I remember you. I thought you died." Clem said.
"I came close." Clem was brought up. "Wait! So who is...?" Lilly took her leg off me. I rolled onto my back. "Y/n?" Lilly asked.
"Yeah." I said. She offered her hand to me. I took it and got up. "Lee isn't with you. So he's dead then. I'll never forget him leaving me on the side of the road to die. I suppose i was a threat after i shot that girl."
"Carley." Clem told Lilly her name.
"Should have left you two behind too. Then maybe he'd still be alive. Same thing will happen to Y/n, then Clem if you guys repeat his mistakes."
"AJ can take care of himself."
"Fuck, we don't have time for all of this." Abel said.
"We can help you guys. We can take you back to the Delta. We have walls, working solar panels, and we grow our own food." Lilly was explaining the Delta and was gonna have us tell the kids at Ericson's to come peacefully, but I saw Violet and Louis coming. "RUN!!!" We shouted. Louis and Violet started running. Clementine kicked Lilly, and I punched Abel again. We stared running, but AJ got shot. "SHIT! AJ!" I shouted in agony. I helped him up. We kept running. We eventually lost them thanks to some walkers. They retreated as we fought the walkers. Clem and I pulled out our knives and started killing the walkers, going from knee to skull. After a few of them, one of them Clem almost stabbed, but it stopped her. "No." He whispered.
"What the fuck?" I gasped. He covered my mouth. He sent the walkers away. "Follow." He told us. Clem picked AJ up. We started following the walker that was speaking.
