Episode 4: Rescue

Me and AJ ran to the school and saw Violet at the gate. "Get the carriage ready! We gotta get Y/n!" I shouted. Me and AJ ran in the school. "Clem! Whats going on? Where's Y/n?" Violet asked.
"He's at James' barn. He needs our help." I told her as Louis, Ruby, and Willy came to us. "AJ, stay put, okay?" I asked him. He gave a nod. Ruby got a horse carriage and we went to the barn.

We got there and started slaying the walkers. Louis used Marlon's bow, and Violet used her own bow. I ran inside the barn with Ruby whenever i saw an opening. She helped me carry him to the carriage. "Y/n, we're here. You're gonna be okay." I told him, not knowing if he could even hear me.
"Clem..." I heard him whisper.
"Guys, we got him! Lets go!" I said. Everyone retreated to the carriage. The horse started running with us in the carriage. I started giving Y/n CPR. "C'mon, Y/n! Its okay! You're gonna be okay." I said quickly as I pressed against his chest.
"Let me take over." Louis said. I let him take over. "Come on man, you can't die." Louis said as he gave my brother chest compressions.
"Ruby? Are we there yet?" I asked her.
"We're here." She said. Louis and Violet carried him in the school and in a dorm downstairs. Ruby immediately started treating him, starting by cleaning his leg and wrapping it. She then gave him a medication to help fight the fever.

I sat outside in the yard for a while. AJ had left to do some fishing. I can't believe everything that just happened. Minerva was a lost cause. Louis and Violet almost fought trying to save Tenn, but then... Tenn's just fucking gone. How did this go so wrong? We didn't have his body, but we buried his belongings like he did with Sophie and Minerva a year ago. "Hey, beautiful." I heard from Louis. He sat next to me and hugged me in attempt to ease me. I would be lying if I said it didn't work. I leaned up against him. "Are you thinking of him?" Louis asked.
"He begged me to kill him." I told him.
"Whats that?"
"The three of us, me, AJ, and Y/n, we made a pact that if me or Y/n ever bit, we would kill the bitten person. In the barn, he told me to kill him. But i saw this as a second chance." I begun. "Lee couldn't be saved. He already passed out before he cut his arm off. Y/n didn't. I chopped his leg off since it wasn't too late yet." I told him the story of Lee. Louis smiled. "He will be proud of you for doing it. If you didn't, he'd never see us again. You, me, AJ, Violet." He said. He leaned over and his lips made contact with mine. We kissed for a few seconds before we heard...
"Come on guys, AJ's back." Violet called. We saw AJ returning with a bucket of fish. He then ran to me and held out my hat. "I found it in the stream. It's all wet now." AJ said. I took it and shook it off before replacing it back on my head. "There's the Clementine we love to see." Louis said. Omar was placing bowls down at the table. "Found your hat, I see." I heard. I looked over and saw Y/n with crutches. AJ ran to hug him. After he did, i gave my brother a hug. "You're out of bed! You're walking!" AJ saw the crutches. "And you have wood arm legs."
"Crutches." He told AJ. "What do you say we go take a seat?" He asked. We went to the benches and Y/n sat next to Violet, and I sat next to Louis. "How many things you gonna lose?" Violet asked.
"I lost my finger, i lost my leg, but i will never lose my mind. Consider that a promise." He said to her. She nudged Y/n's shoulder. For some reason, i was detecting that my brother had a crush on Violet. I gotta find one of those cameras that print the photos. "Think you can walk with me in a second, Clem?" He asked. We finished our food and I walked to a stair with him. i sat next to him, holding an arm out in case he needed help. He sat down by himself and smiled. "All of this is worth it. Everyone that helped get us here today, Lee, Kenny, Luke... they'd all be proud of us for finding a home." Y/n said. I smiled too. Then we both let out a happy exhale.
