"Alright, I think I know this answer" alec says as the teacher asks him something. Jason grins.
The teacher raises her eyebrow. "Well?" She says.

"Oh my god, uhm, I dont think I know it" alec says. The teacher crosses her arms and looks at him. Alec stares back at her.
Jason buries his face in his hands as he tries to hide his laughter.

Alec grins and crosses his arms while leaning back. "Can you explain it again then?" He asks.

For your context, they are in math and he wants to waste the time by acting stupid. (Nobody wants to do maths)

"Could you tell us about your goldfish again? The one you won at the carnival?" jason asks.
The teacher nods excitedly and starts telling the story about how she won a goldfish at a game.

Alec sleeps half and jason is sleeping.
"That's how he died" the teacher says, sobbing.
Jason wakes up and pretends to wipe tears from his eyes.

The bell rings. The teacher looks up at them. "Please think twice about your actions" she says sniffing and walks out of the room.

Jason snickers and slaps alec on the back. Alec snorts.

They stand up and walk to the cafeteria.

Alec looks at the table they always sit at. Its empty.

No cleo.
No ava.
No mavis.

He looks at jason and slowly the loss of the people hits them.
Alec groans and takes place at the table, jason following suite.

They sit in silence for a while. Jason clears his throat and looks at alec. "Shit" alec mumbles and looks around him.

"I'm hungry" jason says.
Alec looks at him. "Same" he says and gets up. "I'll get us food, okay?" He says and walks away.

Jason nods and stretches his legs. "Ah, shit, my legs hurt" he mumbles. He taps his finger on the table while he waits for alec.

After a while, alec comes back with a tray in his hand. "It was the last bit of food they had left" he says and sits down, placing the tray on the table.

They begin eating. Jason shoots quick glances at alec. Alec grins as he caught jason looking at him after 5 times.

"What is it?" He asks. Jason looks up at him. "What?" He asks. Alec chuckles. "Why are you looking at me like I'm about to die" alec says.

Jason shrugs. "Because, I have a feeling you will" he says. Alec rolls with his eyes. And continues eating. "Why though?" He asks. Jason grins.

"Or is it what I hope?" Jason says. Alec gasps and slaps jason. "You dont." he snaps. Jason shrugs. "Okay then" he says and gets back to eating.

Alec chuckles and stands up. "Are you done?" He asks. Jason nods quickly and stands up. "Let's go" he says. Alec grins and they walk out of the cafeteria, to the toilets because P.E was the next period.

They arrive at the toilets and hide in a stall. Jason sighs in relief as he sits down. Alec grins and sits on the floor. "Ah yes" he says. Jason looks at alec.

"Can I ask you a question" he asks. Alec nods, "rip the band aid off" he says jokingly. "Why the fuck do you kiss me" jason asks.
Alec grimaces. "Put the band aid back on." He says.

Jason rolls with his eyes. "You know what ava meant right" he says. Alec shrugs. "I think I don't know." He says.

Jason scoffs. Alec turns his head to look at him. "Why though?" He asks.
Jason shakes his head.
"Doesnt matter"

Alec grins. "Why, jason? Do you like me?" He asks. Jason looks at him. "What" he asks. Alec snorts. "Oh damn you do" he says. Jason grins. "Why would you think that?" He asks.
