Chapter 47: Time To Let Go

Kiba had watched everything happen in almost slow motion, he was the sure where Naruto worked up the strength let alone courage to take care of everything himself. When he witnessed the final blow he gasped in shock, he wasn't expecting his friend to go that far, but in comparison to what Naruto had said he was going to do this was nothing. He stepped back from shock and that's when he felt himself bump into something or someone behind him. He quickly turned around the see an older man with dark black long raven colored hair, his eyes were red and there was little black markings around his pupil. "I-Itachi?" Kiba asked questioning if who he was seeing was truly Sasuke's older brother.

"Leave....Now." The older man ordered before stepping beside him as he was there watching the whole thing go down. When he saw Naruto walking back to their direction he quickly gestured for Kiba to leave, of course not bothering to argue he followed the directions and headed towards his car with a more serious speed. If he was being honest with himself he didn't want anything do to with what was about to come after this now knowing someone else, let alone it being Itachi, seeing the whole thing go down.

It wasn't but a minute or so later that Naruto approached the man standing waiting for him, the blondes eyes were still fiercely red just as Itachi's was.

"Itachi..." Naruto said as he began to walk past him as if knowing there was no way out of the choice he made. He figured at this point Itachi would be taking him home since Kiba was clearly gone. The other man grabbed Naruto's upper arm forcing him to stop before passing him. He yanked hard enough to cause Naruto to catch his gaze with his. When he saw the blondes eyes were the same as it was at the hospital he knew there was no need to hide his Sharingan.

"I take it you will explain to me what led to this." The older man said as his gaze turned to a glare and his grip only tightened when he felt Naruto try and pull back. "Tch..." Naruto scuffed, he bit his bottom lip before turning his head the other direction towards the Uchiha's car that was parked across the street. "Let's go." Naruto said before finally ripping his arm away from the other man's grasp. Itachi only sighed at his disobedience and followed the man to the car.

"Text Kiba to call for an ambulance for him." Itachi said as they got into the car, it was very similar to Sasuke's car that got wrecked but red, with a black interior. Without responding Naruto did as told.

10:36PM—Naruto: Ambulance.

10:37PM—Kiba: Will do.

"He's on it." Naruto said after reading his friends response. Silence was the only thing in the car, Naruto wasn't going to say anything without a question being asked. But there was nothing said and instead of bringing Naruto home, he brought him to the Uchiha household.

"Why are we here?" Naruto asked, his and Itachi's eyes returned to normal the minute they drove off. The older man shut the vehicle off and removed the keys before glancing over at him. "Your going to need an alibi." He said with a half smile before opening the door. It was surprising to see any kind of smile on the man's face after what transpired. He only guessed that Itachi would've stopped him if anything serious would have happened but Naruto knew better than to make the man completely disappear with Kiba there as a witness. He trusted his friend but not enough for murder.

When they got inside Naruto took his shoes off and took in a deep breath, it had been a while since being inside Sasuke's house, he wanted to enjoy it as long as he could of course. "Sit." Itachi said gesturing to the couch in the living room.

Naruto followed the orders only knowing there was no avoiding the conversation the Uchiha was looking to have. Itachi sat next to him on the furthest cushion. His gaze met the blue eyes staring back at him, he had over a hundred questions but knew he needed to start in the beginning.
