It was Sunday morning and Sasuke was all packed up and ready to go. He waited patiently for Itachi to show up to pick him up, he had already signed release forms and aftercare for his head, however luckily for whatever reason he was able to get the staples removed just the day before and was told his gash had been healed nearly fully. Which of course wasn't something he was going to complain about.

It was nearing closer to eight, he had hoped his brother would of already been here by seven-thirty, but that was unfortunately proven wrong. He sat at the end of his bed continuing to wait until he heard a soft knock on his door. The door handle twisted before opening completely, his eyes met with the nice doctor Tsunade who had a bag in her hand, she gracefully handed it to him with a half smile. "This is from the nurses that took care of you for your stay, there's one thing in there for Naruto but the rest is for you." She said as her smile grew wider. "Itachi is downstairs signing you out. I hope you take care Sasuke, it was a pleasure meeting you, I hope things only get better from here on."

Before Sasuke could respond to her gentle words she made her leave. He opened the bag to see there was cards and a stuffed teddy bear that had a tag on it that had his name written on it. "Tch...fan girls I presume." Which he wasn't wrong, but more importantly it was the sweet nurses who took care of him and his boyfriend after the accident.

His eyes glanced over a card that had Naruto's name on the outside of the envelope, as much as he wanted to read it, he knew it was sealed and it wouldn't be appropriate to read something that wasn't meant for him to see. He put it back in the bag before standing to his feet and grabbing the rest of his belongings before making his leave as well. He headed downstairs where he was met with his brother at the glass sliding doors to the exit. The sun scanned over him as if inspecting him, it had been two weeks since he saw outside and was able to breathe in fresh air. It was almost overwhelming, the feeling of being able to move around and enjoy sunlight. Something he would have never craved for before the accident.

"How does it feel?" Itachi asked as his brother stepped outside, he took it upon himself to grab his luggage for him and walk it over to his car as Sasuke followed. "Honestly...amazing." They both got into the car after Itachi put his stuff in the back seat.

Sasuke could feel a weird sensation of discomfort being in a car again, more than likely nothing like Naruto considering he was conscious long enough to see the aftermath of the accident, but strange enough to make his stomach turn. "Whoa.." The younger of the two mumbled to himself before buckling up.

"You okay?" His older brother was concerned for him, worried that he would have flashbacks or maybe even PTSD from the crash. "I'm okay, let's just go home." Sasuke didn't want to dread on it, he didn't even want to think about it so instead he closed his eyes and leaned his head up against the glass as Itachi started the car and drove off.

They road in silence except for the low music in the background from the radio which was enough for Sasuke to focus on rather than every bump in the road. Unfortunately it was inevitable that he found it uncomfortable being in the passenger seat of a vehicle, he couldn't remember the last time his brother or anyone at that, drove him around. The thought of his lost car started to bug him, his brows furrowed but his eyes remained close before letting out a sigh.

Itachi knew better than to ask what was on his mind, rather he continued to drive, up until they got home, which he knew would bring Sasuke into a better mood knowing who was there waiting for him.

When they parked in the driveway Sasuke texted Naruto to let him know he was home before even getting inside. He doubted that the blonde would be up just yet so he didn't bother waiting for a response. When he got out of the car he headed straight towards the front door, seconds before he grabbed the handle, it turned and opened, exposing a rather happy and goofy looking blonde with a smile that only seemed to make his heart grow. "Naruto?" Sasuke asked just before Naruto leaped forward wrapping his arms up and above his shoulders, pulling him into a tight embrace.
