"Karin..." Naruto whispered to himself out loud while his eyes widened from shock. He couldn't believe she was here, right there, right now in front of him. Was this fate? Or was she coming here with a more sinister plan.
What Naruto didn't know was Karin had only saw photos of Naruto, she hasn't actually met him in person either but as soon as her eyes met with his piercing blue ones she knew it was him. So that's him. She thought as she let the door close behind her and made her way to the counter. Itachi had been in the back of the shop so the only people that knew what this meant was Naruto and Sasuke. Kakashi had no clue of anything minus the fact Suigetsu had been jumped outside the shop and was out of work.
Even though Kakashi was out of the loop he could see the straining look on Sasuke's face which was enough to let him know he should probably leave them be for a moment. He quickly made his leave and went back to his office where he hid best. Leaving the three of them alone.
Karin put her hands on the counter and tilted her head to the side while making sure her gaze locked with Sasuke's. She had only given the blonde a moment of glancing before making sure he knew she was only here for the raven.
"Seems the intel I received was correct, so you are back at the shop. I take it your not working though." She folded her arms up and rested her face into her palm while her eyes twinkled at Sasuke.
Naruto glanced over at Sasuke just to see his reaction which wasn't much just as expected. Both boys wondered what intel she was speaking of but the way the waitress looked at Naruto it only made him certain that it was Konan who said something, they must of known each other.
"What do you want Karin?" Sasuke asked as he backed up from the counter making the distance wider between them. He didn't want to be anywhere near her especially after what happened. "Why so hostile?" Karin said with arrogance before fixing her posture and standing with a hand rested on her hip. "To be honest I wanted to see your boy toy in person." Her eyes shifted over to Naruto again before smirking and returning her gaze to Sasuke. "He's cute, I see why Suigetsu has his eyes on him."
At this point both Naruto and Sasuke got the feeling she really came her to stir things up. "Tch." Naruto scuffed under his breath and grit his teeth out of anger hearing her call him a boy toy just as Suigetsu did. Before he could say anything she raised her available hang to silence him.
"Relax puppy, I just wanted to inform you two Suigetsu is awake." She lowered her hand and watched as both of their eyes widened with shock. As expected they had no idea of his consciousness. "Hm I thought so."
Sasuke had to think quickly, he couldn't allow her to see them so astonished by his awakening, "How is he?" He asked trying to stay on topic before it deterred to something more.
"Wouldn't you like to know Uchiha." She said with a wink. "He's doing just fine, however if you want to know more I suggest paying him a visit. He won't be leaving the hospital anytime soon, but that I'm sure you gathered up on your own." Her voice alone was starting to piss Naruto off, what made it worse was her lack sympathy for her supposed friend.
Sasuke couldn't seem to find the words to say in response, it made him nauseous thinking he could say anything and she would use it to incriminate him or Naruto.
"We'll keep that in mind." Naruto spoke up for Sasuke when he noticed how hesitant he was to respond. The fact he spoke up at all was a shock for Karin. She lifted an eyebrow at him and smirked. "Hn...how convenient...the man behind everything finally speaks." She said throwing up her hands.
Naruto was at his limit with remaining cool, it's not like she was wrong but her attitude and voice just made it to where he couldn't handle hearing it anymore. It was like someone who has a winning lottery ticket just swaying it in front of him. "I don't know what your talking about." Naruto said, once he made that statement he realized he messed up, staying quiet would have been better than responding at all.
