Both boys walked into the coffee shop, the smell of freshly ground beans filled both of their nostrils. Naruto really wasn't a coffee person but that doesn't mean he didn't enjoy the smell of it brewing. "G-Good morning N-Naruto-kun...Oh S-Sasuke-kun too." There was a rather petite girl behind the counter with beautiful blue hair, long and thick with bangs that covered most of her forehead. "Oh hi Hinata." Naruto said with a smile, he knew exactly who it was from school and of course it being the girl Kiba was and still is madly in love with. He assumed she had been hired on after Ino's passing. The thought alone made him feel strange inside, it reminded him of his last encounter with Ino the day that he tried to get a job at this cafe.

Sasuke remembered how much Hinata drooled over Naruto in high school, of course at the time he never showed his jealousy but now that the two were in a relationship he felt the need to express his ownership, as if he owned Naruto. His hand gently gripped the hand that he once had a grasp on before they entered the shop, they had let go only out of instinct but there was no kidding that Sasuke wanted his hand back. It didn't take long for Hinata to notice the claim Sasuke was making, of course with her current feelings towards Kiba it didn't seem to bug her to much, just surprised her really.

"W-What can I get for you two?" She asked with the same nervous tone. Naruto smiled and looked up at the menu while gripping Sasuke's hand tighter. "Umm...I'll try a hot coffee with vanilla creamer and a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel." He glanced over at Sasuke who was also looking at the menu. "I'll have a black coffee with sugar, and the same meal."

Hinata punched in their order and took the cash Naruto handed over, she exchanged it with change while giving them a receipt. She turned around to the tiny window behind her with a copy of the receipt and placed it in the metal bar that was filled with marbles to hold up the paper for the cooks to see. "Thanks Hinata!" Naruto said as they both made their way to one of the open tables to wait for their drinks and food.

They sat across from each other and Sasuke couldn't help but scan over the blondes features. He analyzed every inch of his face, from the roots of his hair to the shape of his eyes, to the whisker marks across his cheeks to his lightly pink lips. It was like reading his favorite book but only real. One scan wasn't enough, he found himself doing multiple takes, finding absolutely no imperfection in his face at all. Beautiful. He thought to himself with a joyful feeling.

Naruto had been glancing over the shops changes, the decor and the lighting had changed from the last time he'd been here. The last time he walked in and pulled Sai out to talk to him. He started to wonder if Sai was there today, his mind was all over the place regarding everything that's happened while Sasuke was infatuated by him. Of course he didn't catch on until his eyes scanned over Sasuke and saw him staring at him. He flinched from how intense Sasuke had seemed looking at him. "Eh? Sasuke you okay?"

Their eyes locked and for a moment Naruto could have swore he saw him blush. "It's nothing sorry." Sasuke quickly deterred his vision to outside the window they had been sitting by. Even Naruto found himself blushing over Sasuke's clear expression of infatuation. "Heh."

"Two bacon, egg, and cheese bagels with a black coffee with sugar and a vanilla coffee?" A young man with slick shiny black hair and black dark eyes said as he looked up from the order in his hand. "Oh Naruto and Sasuke. Wow it's great to see you two." Sai said as he set their food and beverages down. "Sai! I was just wondering if you were here today. How are you?" Naruto asked with an upbeat voice and smile that was wider than normal. "Actually I'm doing alright. Thanks for asking. How are you two feeling? Better?" He asked in return. The last he heard Sasuke was still in the hospital and he wasn't sure if he had recovered enough to leave.

It wasn't long that the three of them got to catch up before Sai's boss came from around back and asked him to bus down a couple of tables. He said his goodbyes and gave Naruto a rather alarming smile, one that was extremely out of character.
