Chapter 7

As the night drew to a close, both Vardhaan and Koyal had a tumultuous time. Perhaps their behavior was fueled by adrenaline or other intense emotions. However, both seemed to recognize the need to take a step back and gain their sanity.

Vardhaan chose to go for a long run to clear his mind and let go of the stress and anxiety he had been experiencing with this marriage matter. Running can be an excellent way to get some exercise and release endorphins, which can improve one's mood and overall sense of well-being.

Meanwhile, Koyal decided to visit the temple in search of inner peace. Koyal found solace in the quiet and peaceful environment of the temple, allowing her to reflect on the events of the past night and find a sense of calm. As she sat in quiet contemplation, she was able to let go of the worries that had been weighing on her mind. After spending a few hours in the temple, Koyal felt a sense of tranquility wash over her. Finally she found the answer for the questions which were running in her mind all night.

Koyal entered her house, Lila smiled at her and wished her good morning and Koyal took her blessing and went to Uday, Lila also accompanied her. Koyal took a deep breath and said "Chachu I thought about that alliance a lot yesterday, I weighed all the pros and cons, nani's situation and to be honest I was not so optimistic about this alliance. However after sleeping and thinking a bit more, I finally decided to say a yes. I reached till this conclusion because I know, you would have never told me to marry someone, cause it is my last grandparents's wish, or anyother reason. If you told me about it means, you also find this alliance good for me. I believe your judgment chachu."

Hearing this both Uday and Lila's eyes were wet. Lila hugged Koyal in happiness, and Koyal was also on cloud nine seeing her uncle and aunt this happy.

Here our Vardhaan came back from a 2 hours longrun, seeing him Amar went to him to talk but for the first time he avoidedtalking to him, not only his grandfather but Vardhaan since yesterday wasgiving a cold shoulder to all his family members, except his brothers and sister. Vardhaan had said a yes for this alliance, but unlike Koyal he did not get a chance to think, he was compelled to say yes. What shocked him to the core was no one from his family was thinking from his perspective. All of them had decided, and he was just informed. It was like his opinion did not matter at all. So after getting fresh we called Ketli kaki and ordered her to bring his breakfast in his room only. All these acts of his angered Amarpreet Chopra.

"What is this Vardhaan? Why are you behaving like this since yesterday? Your marriage will be the first marriage of the house, we have so many things to discuss, come down with me right now." Amarpreet ordered. "No, I will not come, I am good here only, and what do you guys want to discuss with me, the color of the curtains, in my marriage, reception outfit, menu of the functions? You guys want to discuss these important things with me but not about the one with whom I am marrying? Just decide whatever you feel like, it's not like my choice matters. If I want something and you guys want something else then who knows for that also someone will join their hand and say Vardhaan beta please let it be like this." Vardhaan for the first time in his life back answered someone from his family. Gayetri who was passing by witnessed all of these, barged into Vardhaan's room and scolded "What is this Vardhaan is that a way of talking to your Grandfather..." she was scolding only when Vardhaan cut her in the middle and said, "Sorry dadaji, and sorry mom for talking in this way, but your decision has hurted me, so that's why I am staying away from you guys, let it be that way. And don't start your preparations this early, first let the girl say yes, if she agrees just do whatever you like I have no intrest."

Gayetri was about to say something when Akhil came there and started " You guys are here, I was searching you guys elsewhere, so Papa there's a good news Uday ji just called and said it's a yes from their side" Amarpreet face glowed in happiness hearing this. "Congratulations guys, now just do whatever you like and excuse me now" saying this Vardhaan left his room and went to the study. Akhil looked at Gayetri with "what happed" type look to which she signaled "I will tell you later". Gayetri was hurt from her son's behavior, but then she also knew that her son was right somewhere and her father in law should not have joined his hands like that in front of Vardhaan like that. It was forcing him, into this marriage, but again what can she do, when her mother in law also could not stop that old man from forcing Vardhaan into this marriage. "Hey babaji mere Vardhaan or uski shaadi sudha zindagi mein apni meher banaye rakhna." She prayed.
