Author's POV
Vardhaan took a break from his work to spend all the time he got with her. Vardhaan did not leave a single chance to spend time with his wife. He accompanied her everywhere he could. He did everything he could to make the last six days of her visit enjoyable and memorable for both of them.
Vardhaan went with Koyal to the shopping mall and patiently visited more than 10 shops till Koyal found that one special dress for her friend's wedding. He went with her to the beauty parlor and waited for her till she was done. Vardhaan was taking his father's advice "Pyaar ka intezaar kar" too seriously. [Wait for your love]
Vardhaan also visited Payal with his wife, went to Aditya's house. They also hosted a dinner for their close friends and family. Vardhaan also handled Koyal's grandmother taking advantage of his son in law title. He did not let an ounce of sadness and stress touch Koyal.
These little acts of Vardhaan were making Koyal's heart flutter. For her these little things were those rare things which no one apart from her brother had done for her, i.e making her feel special, wanted. Koyal always knew she liked Vardhaan but in the span of these six days she slowly realized that her likeness and fondness for Vardhaan had now turned into love. Koyal when realized this felt out of the world. She could also feel the love Vardhaan was expressing through his little acts.
Koyal and Vardhaan both had realized their love and feelings for each other, but the confession was yet to be done. But love is not all about confessing and telling. The essence of love is not confined within the boundary of language and words. It is way beyond that. The beauty of love is that it rises beyond something that can be spoken in words.
The essence of love brewing in between Koyal and Vardhaan was also something similar. Their love was not in words, yet both could feel that love and likeness they had for each other. The atmosphere in their home, and around them was also very cheerful. The positive effects if their love was radiating around them. Koyal and Vardhaan had forgotten all their problems and stress for a few days. To be honest they also had forgotten that Koyal would have to leave in a few days.
The last five days were the most beautiful days of Vardhaan and Koyal's life. They had made countless happy memories. Life seemed too perfect for them. So perfect that Koyal and Vardhaan thought that this was a dream. And indeed it was something similar to a dream.
Like the dream comes to an end with the end of sleep. Their prefect happy life would also end for the time being with Koyal going back. Just like at times we don't a dream to end, similarly they did not want the time to flow. Koyal so wished that these six days would never end.
However as they say time and tide wait for none and that time is like a flowing river, nothing can stop it, the six days ended. Finally the day Vardhaan had been dreading for 10 days had come. The next day Koyal would fly away, to achieve her dreams her so long desired degree.
As the sun slowly set down making the sky slowly orange and then slowly into pitch dark, gloominess also spread around Koyal and Vardhaan. Both of them were sad and both couldn't say a thing.
Vardhaan helped Koyal with her packing with a very heavy heart. Trying his best to show that he was normal, that he was not sad. And Koyal she was also trying to do the same. For a moment Vardhaan wanted to express his love for Koyal. He wanted to pour his heart in front of her. He wanted to confess the deepness of every sentiment he harbored for her.
However he knew that doing so might be an obstruction in her journey of success. Vardhaan knew how important these degrees were for her. Vardhaan did not just love Koyal, he loved her dream as well. That's why Vardhaan despite feeling mournfulness tried to show his cheerful self.
