Chapter 53

Vardhaan's POV

I arrived home around 8 o'clock in the evening. It had only been a few hours since she left and I can say I already miss her. The house indeed feels a little big and lonely in her absence. It will be difficult to live here without her. I guess I should move back to my apartment atleast Kabir will be there. I was lost in my thoughts when my phone beeped. It was from Koyal. I picked it up.

On the Phone:

K- Hey

V- Hello

K- So...I reached the Singapore layover.

V- That's great. I hope you had a comfortable flight.

K- You had your dinner?

V- Yeah! I did with Aditya Bhaiya.

K- Great! How was he?

V- A little sad but okay

K- Hmm..so what about you?

V- I am also fine.

K- So will you go to work tomorrow?

V- Yes I will...have to.

K- And your morning exercise will also be back?

V- Yeah that as well.

K- I guess from tomorrow both of us will be back to our normal routines.

V- Yeah, not that I complained about the non-customary routine.

K- Exactly, I loved our exceptional routine. I..I loved the time I spent with you. Life never felt so happy and content as it felt in the past week. I loved your cooked meals, those walks, ice creams everything. Thank you, thank you so much for making the last days of my vacation so memorable.

My heart did summersaults listening to her.

K- I know I did not say to you but I noticed how you stopped doing your everyday morning runs just to be with me. I noticed how you ignored your work calls so that our time did not go to waste. And I appreciate all of it, all of which I mentioned and all of which I didn't.

My heart skipped a beat realizing that she noticed every single thing I did for her. I always thought she didn't perceive my actions my feelings, but she did. She cares.

K- Vardhaan,

V- hmm

K- Vardhann you are listening to me right?

V- hmm.. I LOVE YOU

Oh god did I just say I Love you that too like this. Noo I need to salvage the situation.

(Koyal when heard this was stunned, she was telling about her feelings like this on the phone because this was much more comfortable but she never expected this confession. Before she could say something Vardhaan did)

V- I...I mean I love doing those things for you, you know spending time with you. So..so don't thank me.

K- Me too. I mean I also love spending time with you.
