Chapter 31

As Vardhaan came out of the house to the entrance, he had a pooja ki thaali in his hand. Koyal looked at him with glaze full eyes. "You are the Laxmi of this house, couldn't let you enter without this" he said, and did Koyal's aarti. Koyal's eyes were brimmed with tears now, as they entered the house Vardhaan felt nervous seeing her unshed tears. So he asked her, was she upset with any of his act. Upon hearing his question shook her head in no. Her eyes were still glaze full. So Vardhaan thought to leave the matter for some time.
"She is certainly upset about something, but I guess I should leave this matter hear for now. She needs to learn to talk to me. I can't keep bugging her for everything." Vardhaan thought in his mind. Suddenly he felt that his wife was so uncomfortable with him that she never said anything. Even to clear up the misunderstanding, she did not even try to speak to him.
This behavior of Koyal was ignored by from the starting. True to his thought Koyal never took any effort to talk to him, communicate to him. Vardhaan always over looked this thinking, she might be too overwhelmed by this sudden marriage, or maybe she is scared to talk to me after knowing he heard her. But now when everything was okay, she needed to start saying what was in her heart. Not every time coincidences or miracles could happen.

Anyways, both Koyal and Vardhaan were silent after that. Koyal was expecting Vardhaan to ask her once more, but he did not. Now this was bothering her as well. Communication plays a big role in any relationship. It is a basic requirement that both parties had to fulfill without a fail to keep the bond intact, and here Koyal was failing to fulfill this need.

"I am ordering food from outside, what do you want to eat?" Vardhaan asked her, in the same normal voice which he generally used with Koyal. But something was missing this time, and that was his warmth his voice lacked warmth . Koyal failed to notice that his voice was a little colder than usual she thought maybe he was tired from the journey whereas Vardhaan here was feeling very upset and hurt by her behavior he felt that Koyal did not want to communicate with him no matter what and he cannot keep guessing her mood all lifelong.

"So here is the final guest room of the house. Please feel free to change anything if it's not as per your liking" Vardhaan said Koyal. Koyal just nodded her head in a yes and gave him a small and beautiful smile she was back to normal now. " Also there is no maid here I did not know you would be coming with me or else I would have prepared someone to do the housework beforehand only but don't worry I will contact someone tomorrow." Vardhaan informed Koyal.

"That's all right but how come you have no house help here you live alone" Koyalexclaimed in surprise. "Oh! It's just that I don't like households around meall the time I prefer to do my work myself and  as per my liking." Vardhaan gave her areply "Really I also like to do my own work. I don't think we would be needing a house help anytime soon let's talk about this later when we feel the need to have one." Koyal said.

"Are you sure about it? I don't want you to be burdened with the housework. Don't worry I will definitely get a maid by tomorrow evening." Vardhaan remarked. "Yes I am. I feel really good when I do my own work and I'm sure you would be helping me around when you have time, won't you?"Koyal voiced "Alright let's leave this topic for now. I am tired. I'm going to bed good night."He wished her and went bad Koyal also followed his lead, changed into the nightwear and then went to bed.

In the morning when Koyal opened her eyes he was unable to find Vardhaan anywhere, she started to panic for as to where he might have gone. She searched the whole house but could not find him. She was panicking and was about to call Vardhaan's mom when she remembered his habit of going out for an early morning run. She also remembered him telling her that he was going out for his run when she was in sleep, as she realized that he would be back in some time she felt relieved. Sign at her negative thoughts she went to do her morning routine. Soon Vardhaan came back and found Koyal was cooking breakfast, he wished her a small good morning and went to get ready for the day.

"Wow you made my favorite parathas. It is divine." Vardhaan praised Koyal's cooking. Koyal just gave him a bright smile listening to his comment. "So what are you planning to do today?" Vardhaan asked her. "I have not really thought about what to do today. I was thinking I will go give Bhaiya a visit today." Koyal answered Vardhaan.

"That seems a great idea message me when you're about to go I will send the driver." "Sure"

"Um what about you, when are you going to return?" She asked Vardhaan. "Maybe by 3 or 4 in noon. I have some urgent work." He replied and made his way to the car. Vardhaan waited all night and morning for Koyal to tell him what was wrong with her the previous evening but Koyal didn't.

It was not really that big of a deal yet it was bugging Vardhaan. Here Koyal was unaware of the fact that her habit of not telling anyone was making her already weak relationship weaker. Communication is the key to any successful relation. Let's see weather Koyal learns to communicate or not.
