Koyal's POV

I was peacefully sleeping in Vardhaan's arms when my phone suddenly started ringing. The call disturbed our sleep, making both of us groan in irritation. I was in no mood to get up and pick the call neither did Vardhaan loosed his hold, so I ignored it and tried sleeping again, but the damn caller called again. And I ignored it the second time.

My gut feeling was telling me not to pick up that call, so I didn't but when the phone rang for the third time I had to see who it was. I groaned in irritation and Vardhaan also left me. I so did not want to leave his warm embrace, however the phone was ringing for quite a time.

I went over to see who it was, and I didn't want to pick it up. I also know that if I don't pick that damn call I will be in trouble. I just looked at my phone not picking it. I did not pick up the call. My mind just went back to the past. All of my good mood turned sour.

"Hey! You don't want to talk?" Vardhaan asked tapping my back. I looked at him and replied "Not right now, but if I don't pick up then I know she will keep calling me." And scold me. "Hmm.. don't worry I will handle this." Vardhaan stated smilingly and picked the call. Oh! God bless him.

"Pranam its not Koyal, its Vardhaan." He said. I don't know what came the reply but then he smoothly lied, "No, no she is in the kitchen, and her phone was in the bedroom. Luckily I came and picked your call." I looked at him shocked. I didn't know Mr. Vardhaan Chopra could lie so smoothly. "Yeah sure" He said lastly and cut the call.

"See problem solved" He said showing me his cute smile. Wait a minute I never noticed he has a slight dimple on the left cheek. I don't know what he asked me because I was too busy studying his dimples, so I replied "You get dimple on your left cheek." He chuckled listening me. He has a melodious chuckle I guess.

He teased me saying, "Hmm... considering how much you ogle at me, you found this fact pretty late Doctor." I was flustered, so I was caught every time I stared at him. "I don't stare at you." I stated. "Really! So that day while going to the party how did you miss the steps if you weren't staring at me?" He questioned. "I was that...saree! It was because of the saree." I lied smoothly. Being a girl I do get some benefits.

"Oh! But considering the amount of time you have worn saree and your high heels, I have never seen you tripping, that too on stairs." He counter attacked me. I should admit it now, after all I am over with all the classic dialogs. "oh, I was looking the wall behind you." "I was looking at the watch, painting etc." Now that the tripping excuse is also gone, I have to admit the truth.

Also, I was staring at my legally wedded husband. I took a step closer to him, and admitted, "Fine I was staring at you. In fact I usually stare at you, ogle at you in every possible situation I get." There I said it. I don't know where all this bravery is coming in from. I for the second time in the past few hours admitted that I was staring at him.

"Ahm, seems like you find me quite attractive doctor." He teased me again and I blushed just like the previous time. He likes tease me a lot. I have had enough of his teases. It's time to tease him.

"Absolutely not, by the way Vardhaan I had a question to ask shall I?" I started the revenge. He looked confused, his face was like where the question came from. Perfect! "Ah, sure. Go ahead." He said all confused.

"So Vardhaan are you nearsightedness?" I asked. He looked more confused. "Where did this come from suddenly!?" He muttered softly but I heard it. It's going to be so much fun. He heisted a little then answered all confused, "what! No, Koyal why are you.."

"Really! Because every time you walk in, you blur out everything else." I said, more like teased him. "Teased? You flirted with him." My inner voice commented which I ignored. I looked at Vardhaan he was flustered, in shock I guess. "What did you say? Please say it again." He said still shocked.
