The corners of your mouth drew up automatically at the sound of your boyfriend's voice on the other end of the phone. "Hi, Tae," you responded softly.
"Did you have a good day?" he asked, his voice gentle and curious. "I hope they didn't work you too hard!"
You grinned. "It was okay, but it was really busy. I just got home," you stretched out over your bed, resting your aching feet. Working as a student nurse was tough, but you loved helping people and the satisfaction it gave you.
"Good. Work is crazy here too, I feel like I haven't stopped all day. I just wanna see you," he whined, and you could almost hear him pouting into the phone, making you giggle.
