The Liar And Her Love

chapter 01:

-April' 2018-

A young girl with a blue bag pack and braids was walking alongside a female teacher. She looked nervous and fidgety, all the students in the other class kept staring at her from the window. Her uniform was neat and according to the dress code. The skirt reached till the knees, her shirt was tucked in, the buttons were closed and the tie was in place. Her socks were aligned and the shoes were shining.

"Come on Taeri, this is your classroom" the teacher says and opens the doors of the classroom. All the students pause when they see her, she stands there in front of everyone. "Please introduce yourself" she asks and the girl looks up. "Hi, my name is Kim Taeri, I was born on 8th August 2005, I play tennis and I am a ballet dancer, Thank you" with this it was over.

One of the students from the class shouts, " why did you change schools!?" There was a round of laughter when she looked up and said. "I beat up a kid from another class because they were rude. It's a forced transfer" she says and there was a round of silence.

The teacher did not bother reacting. "You can sit next to kim An jie," as soon as she says the girl raises her hands. Taeri slowly takes a seat next to her.

"Hi! My name is Kim anjie. And you ?" She asks and taeri turns to her. "Seo taeri. Nice to meet you" she says and anjie smiles back. Taeri looks around when anjie starts talking to her, "do you find anyone attractive here?" She asks.

Taeri had her eyes on one guy in the corner seat laughing and playing with everyone but she didn't say anything. Instead smiled and shook her head.

It was the recess Y/n was on the seat all alone. Her eyes fell on the absentees. They were two, Kim Ae ra and Bae Ha Jun. She also saw the people eating in different groups, and anjie was with her friends. The friend circle was huge. While she was eating a chocolate mousse. When she was finished, she threw the cup in the dustbin and went out of the classroom.

There were students running around, a girl was running with a chit when everyone was chasing her. It looked like they were playing, when suddenly Taeri was hit by a guy. She didn't lose balance instead the guy did, he was about to fall when she grabbed his arm and pulled him.

It took a minute for him to calm down, when taeri stepped back and left without saying anything. The guy stood there as if a statue, when another guy approached him. "Jimin what the fuck happened. Why are you here absolutely frozen" the guy joked and the guy jimin looked at him. "Do you know her?" He asks. "No, but I did hear from anjie, she has a new desk mate." He says.

Jimin tilts his head before he mumbles. "I have seen her somewhere"

-August 2033-

Jimin heard noises around the room. His eyes slowly open, he just remembered the day he had met Taeri in the hallways, It was not their first meet but the first time he came so close to her. But he wasn't sure if he really heard that name and why he was thinking about it almost a decade later.

He opened his eyes and sat comfortably, and finally realised why there was a commotion, he is in the emergency room and the doctors are running from here to there, there is an IV on his arm and when the nurses notice him get up one off them rush to him.

"Sir, please lay down, you fainted due to dehydration. Your body is weak. You need to eat and also not drink alcohol on an empty stomach, I'll call the doctor" the nurse said and rushed out of there.

Jimin sat there dazed, he couldn't remember exactly what happened. He remembers sitting beside ha na and attempting to kill himself.

When- wait-

The realisation hit him, someone spoiled the pills and offered him wine, did they rob him. He looked down to see he is still in his black suit, now even more dirty. He tried to search for his phone and wallet when he heard a voice.

"Are you looking for this" the same female voice running round in his memory spoke beside him. He looked to his side and saw her standing there. Now that he was in his senses he could see the familiarity in the face. Now he knows why her name was running in his memory out of nowhere.

She passed the phone and wallet to him and passed a bento box along with his things. He looked up at her. "What happened?" He asked.

"You fainted, I called the ambulance, they brought you here. I followed closely in my car and here we are in the ER, they said You haven't eaten anything in a few days and then I told them about the glass of wine and they said you could have died or something but fortunately you are alive. Don't skip meals" she said and he just nodded. He opened the box and saw there was rice, chicken and other side dishes.

"Do you want me to eat it?" He asks and she nodded. "I didn't bring it for you stare at it. Eat it" she said and walked away. He saw her walk towards the reception where the nurse guided her to somewhere, when the doctor appeared.

The doctor was a little dark skinned and stood just in front of jimin, the tag on his white court read, Dr. Song soo min. "Jimin" he called out and jimin looked at him.

"Do you know, how suprised I was when I saw you here in an ambulance" he said and jimin just nodded. "Don't tell anyone, I am here, I'll sleep for a while after eating this." He said and proceeded to eat the food when the doctor took a seat on the edge of the bed. "Bitch, I wasn't surprised because you were in an ambulance, I half expected you to come here dead anyways, I was surprised to see Taeri bring you here" he said and jimin choked on his food.

"What-? Dead, yeah sure asshole" he mumbled and chugged on his food.

"I went to ha na's funeral today. I felt so guilty, she could have been playing around, living a life, she died because without living a beautiful life because of me, I ruined her youth and she doesn't have any life left anymore" he said and soo min sighed.

"It was her choice, jimin, you can't demean her or yourself because she chose that" he said but jimin didn't respond.

"Is there any news of Nari yet?" he asks and jimin clenched his molars. "No, her sister died and she barely cares about it. I didn't see her at the funeral. Nobody expected her anyway. Even if she did come, I would have killed her"

"About taeri, how did you meet her" jimin fell silent hearing the name. If he doesn't tell him, taeri will. It's better he tells him.

"Trust me, I wasn't in my right mind. I was starving, dehydrated and sad, I was crying, I really don't know why but took a packet of zolpedium with me-" he could already see soo min understand a lot of it.

"I tried to chug them, I was there next to taeri's parents' grave. When she spilled my pills, poured wine on them, stepped on them, ruined them and offered me the wine to drink." He said there was a moment of silence.

"This is why you had wine on an empty stomach. Jimin you are literally a DOCTOR, how can you be so careless." Soo min scolded him when jimin responded.

"Mianhe" the voice was little.

"I can only imagine, how calmly she must have done that. Is she still the same dramatic calm as before or has she changed?" Soo min asks.

Jimin thinks for a minute. "As of now, it's still the same." He says.

"Oh, soo min? Oh my god. Hi!" Taeri chimes and grabs their attention, soo min gets up to greet her when she hugs him instead.

Jimin and soo min both of them had their eyes wide open. Of course she wasn't in korea for a while now.

Jimin awkwardly chuckled and shoved a spoonful of rice.
