Sept'22

"Breaking news, Seo Taeri is dating!!" I read that, some one put that on the school's anonymous forum.

I sighed. I started dating this guy, he played guitar. The lead guitarist of the school band, a highschool fantasy come to real.

I think, I moved on from jimin? But if I did, why do I still hate that he is with Na ri. I could look him sitting next to her in the audience.

"Taeri" my boyfriend called my name. He was beside me. "Huh?" I looked at him, he was either as tall as me or an inch shorter. He says he taller than me but who cares?

He has light grey eyes, fair and a golden retriever. But sometimes I feel like all he does is pry onto my insecurities, every time I'm on the stage where I feel the most alive he has called me an attention seeking whore.

But most of the times, he does something very nice that makes me not leave him. I feel like I rushed into it, he runs me around in breadcrumbs.

However, away from my own monsters, he became a light. Made me feel like I had the potential to be loved again.

As if yes, I'm lovable and people will love me.

"Can you pin the badge on me?" He asks and I nodded with a smile. I managed the event, it was a cancer awareness program that started with a band. The band was successful but not the relationship.

"So, yeah he left with her to the side. Damn he is just like you for real. You know the heroic main character moves like you yeah." venessa said chugged the chips when Jimin chuckled.

I looked at him. That goddamn smile. Phew.

Then my eyes went on ven. She had a smirk.

Ofc. That rat.

"I totally agree. I remember, she once slapped Anjie when she tried to insult Jiha saying she was a gold digger for liking Taehyung, all she did was attend school more and hang out with him more." Jimin said and I was focused on his smile.

"It was so satisfying. Jiha finally started looking at people around her, away from the dark side of her life. There was little light because of Taehyung. It was an assembly practice, Taeri was practicing her speech. Anjie was too loud in the audience area throwing insults at Jiha calling her a slut and what not, a gold digger, Taeri stopped mid way, jumped off the stage. Everyone looked up confused why did she stop speaking and then she pulled Anjie and slapped her right across the cheeks called her a nosy jealous bitch before she flipped her hair and just went back to practice. The whole room was stunned." Jimin said and I was just so happy he remembers something about me in detail.

"That scarily in detail" ven said chugging a bunch of chips.

"What's in details?" Jungkook said entering the room with Ryan.

"Oh, Taeri's slap to Anjie" when she said jungkook clapped and sat down.

"Damn, even I remember that in detail. Taeri was my source of drama through school" he said and we chuckled.

"Tell me about it" Ryan said taking a seat too.

"Yahh I'll tell you"

"You remember that jimin, wow" Venessa said and he nodded.

"Of course I do, Jiha stopped opening up again. Something snapped in her. She dropped out, took the GED instead, went to med school with me and dropped out again. That dark shadow which was pushed on us and then her is almost like a leech on her." Jimin said and we nod.

"I hope Taehyung and Jiha get another chance. Jiha deserves freedom. Unfortunately I can't fight her battle, I would have done that for her. She is much more sensitive than she looks to the world" I said in a low tone

"Forget them Ryan, I'll tell you about your sister's everyday drama. She was everyone's source of entertainment. It was like drama seeked her out not the other way round. Like really" jungkook changed the topic and the room was light again.

There was laughs, stories, snacks and talks in general, except the the two people. I hope both of them survive. Really.

We were deep into talks when jimin received a call and the guys left to get Sarang. We bid out best friend a safe journey from the window. The smile was enough, I'm sure ven made a mind call and demanded her back by the wedding. It was her way of saying, you better be alive.

With that Jiha left for the mission of her life, we hope it's her last one but not because she doesn't survive, the last one because she wins her freedom.

Her family doesn't end at jimin and Sarang, it includes me, ven, my brother, jungkook and hopefully taehyung one day. She better know her family has the strongest people who turn everything for her.

She probably knows, so does her boss, that's why she never came for us. But that doesn't guarantee her safety, each one us will kill for her no matter who the target is.

Missing parents and parental issues really bonded us in a family.

Soon Sarang joined us. I took her to my bed where she fell asleep beside me and all of talked until late night in the same room.

Amidst the chaos I made an offer to jungkook, that unemployed fool in love.
