It was the new year Eve and here I was with Ryan and his friends. Their parents let them out on one condition that I would join them. So I did, his friends like me anyway.

There are 3 boys, Ryan, a black boy and an Italian boy and 3 girls one of them is korean, one is Indian and one is Russian. Their group is genuinely diverse.

I thought I'll just chill and keep an eye on them.

Except one of them had a very hot cousin about my age and he accompanied us too. Since this friend of his is korean, the cousin was too and the friend's mom was probably trying to set us up.

I didn't reject, maybe this is how I'll no more be jiminsexual.

"What's your name?" He asked while I was looking at the kids dancing on the club floor.

"Seo Taeri" I said and he nodded.

"Didn't Ms. Lee tell you about it?" I ask

He chuckled. "Yes my aunt did. I just wanted to start a conversation, she also told me you have a PhD in psychology and is currently working as a researcher and umm you are also the chair woman to a conglomerate?" He asked confused and I chuckled.

"It's a symbolic position, my mother was the late chairwoman and as the largest shareholder I'm just there. I'm just a girl" I said sipping my soda since I couldn't get drunk.

He smiled.

"Please you are not just a girl. You are intimidating" he said and I chuckled.

"What do you do? What are you here for?" I ask.

"I'm a corporate Lawyer but I do handle some cases once in a while. I was here for some work and thought about staying back with my cousins for the holiday" he said and I nodded.

"You practice in korea?" I asked and he nodded.

"Yes I'm working at Kim & Kim" he said and I smiled.

"I assume that's a big firm considering the fact I have heard of its name. They hate the Seo group" I said and he smiled.

"Yeah they totally do. They would go nuts if they find out who I'm talking to right now. I did go nuts when my aunt told me about you. Who would have thought the Seo Taeri was in UK" he said and I smiled looking down.

"What was your name again?" I asked and he smiled and looked at me before answering.

"Cha eun woo"

Jimin

I was sitting on the stands and the seat next to me was empty.

Taeri had a trigger response. She had a PTSD trigger. She crumbled down the moment I raised my voice scolding her. I shouldn't have done that, but she really pulled that stunt when she is a public figure and also when she can't physically fight at all if the weight of the other side is much more than her's.

The look on her face, the disoriented state. The attempt at grasping anything for support, the instability. This was something I never expected from her. I could never look at her being so vulnerable.

She was strong, powerful and exceptionally intelligent for me. Seeing her so vulnerable today made me realise how much exactly do I know of her?

I saw to my side and saw her walk towards me with the tray in one hand. I looked at her face, a beautiful smile as always as if nothing happened.

She quietly sat next to me and passed me the tray.

I looked at her but didn't ask everything I wanted to. I hope she tells one day though.

"Sarang!!" She screamed and we saw Sarang who was on the starting line. Smiling ear to ear.

We cheered for and I had no idea my daughter could run so fast.

The races were over. Sarang won a gold medal and a silver medal and after the prize distribution she came towards me all jolly.

"Stand there" Taeri said and took her phone out. She clicked all sorts of photos from all the angles. "Excuse me? May we have your photo?" The camera man said and Taeri looked confused.

She slowly walked towards us and stood on my side while I lifted Sarang up in my arms.

"Little closer, we can fit a DMZ between the both of you, there" the cameraman said and I smiled before I put my arm around her and pulled her closer. She gasped and looked at me.

"Look at the camera"

*Click*

"Thank you pretty people. Ma'am are you interested in mode-"

"No" she answered looking away and I realised she had been blushing.

"Excuse me? Can you click one from my phone" I said and gave him my phone. He nodded and got ready. I pulled her closer again and the man clicked the photos.

"Fuck" I heard Taeri whisper only to look at the cloud of blush around her cheeks.

After the photos she took a step away from me and I took the camera back. The look on her face made me chuckle and the look on her face in the photo was even more adorable.

"Taeri look-" before I could say anything I heard another voice.

"Seo Taeri?" Some Man called her and both of us turned around to look at the guy. He looked suprised? Happy?

"I must say it's fate that we meet again"

"Eww. Why are you here?" Taeri said in a repulsive voice and stepped closer to me.

The man chuckled. "I still love the way you are extremely honest about how you feel" he said and looked at me.

"Is he Park Jimin?" He asked and I was taken back. How does he know me!?.

Taeri stood infront of me pushing him away. "Stay the fuck away eun woo. I swear to god, you don't know me" she said and he chuckled.

"Exactly I never knew you. But I can't stay the fuck away" he said with a snicker with a envelope in his hands.

"Here, You stole my girlfriend. I'll steal your daughter" He said and gave me the envelope. Taeri face palmed.

"Kim & Kim was hired by Seokjin Kim?" She asked.

"Ah-uh, smart as always" he chimmed.

"God, and also eun woo for the record. I'm not your girlfriend and he didn't steal me. You were just eww" she said and grabbed my wrist before dragging me away.

"He is eww" Sarang said

"Yes Sarang he is eww. Eww him every time you see him" she said and we walked away.
