I tapped on my desk thinking about that night. Why do I blurt out things all the time.

This reminded me of the day I rushed to korea after Ryan's parents meet when Ven told me about what NaRi did. I was angry at her but somewhere I was happy that she gave me a window to enter his life and then Hana closed the window.

I was in the staircase of his house when I saw Hana standing in front of the door. He used to live somewhere else then, a better house.

He had to move because of her, they had to downgrade everything. I honestly don't care about that woman. She is nothing to me. Which is why I hate her for ruining everything moreover she shares blood with that asshole sister.

I looked at the time.

HELL YEAH. IT WAS FINALLY 5 PM.

I danced as I collect my phone and wind up the things.

"I'm going going home home. Yeah yeah-"

However I was interrupted by Ava. Don't get me wrong she was a lovely voice however she also used that voice to throw work at me.

"Ms.Seo, you have a guest" she said from her intercom.

I rolled my eyes.

"I don't have an appointment" I said but someone else replied.

"It's me Taeri" I rolled my eyes again.

Kim Seokjin.

Dressed in an Armani navy blue suit, brown shoes. Man was classy and handsome but annoying.

Hel walked in and I rolled my eyes AGAIN and groaned very loud.

"I'm pleased to meet you too" he said and took a seat on the couch while I sat back on my seat.

"Why are you here? Go away. I don't want to spend my evening with an old dude" I said and he gave me the one most disgusted face.

"Woman, I'm not more than 5 years older than you-"

"What are your reaching? Your 50s? How was life during the great depression or civil war?" He starred at me before leaning in to take his shoes off.

My eyes widened.

"Nonononono, don't. Okay I'm sorry please speak sir how can I help you" I said and he took a huge breath.

He paused and then looked at me.

"I'm sorry" He said and sat back. It felt weird.

"I didn't know eun woo did something like that to you, and I heard from Ryan he brought Annie to your home yesterday" He said and kept listening.

"He is not my lawyer but Nari's lawyer. I love that woman, I can't say no to her but I'll try my absolute best to comvince her to drop the suit. And I'll unban you from he restaurants" He said and I smiled.

"It's okay, you don't need to do that. I'll corner your girl to such a point she'll lose anyway. At the end be by her side when she is lonely and sad after losing to me. You'll hit it off" I said and got up.

"Order anything if you want to and get lost from here or just sleep here or something, I do not care. I have important business to attend to" I said as I flew out of my office at the speed of light only to hear his chuckles as I left.

"Ma'am, are you leaving early?"

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN EARLY? IT'S 5PM. I DON'T GET PAID ENOUGH TO STAY A MINUTE LONGER" I screamed back as I walked.

"Ma'am, YOU PAY PEOPLE NOT THE OTHER WAY ROUND" Ava spoke as she has walked towards me while I waited for the lift.

"It's okay Ava, life is not about working. Go party or get a boyfriend, just chill" I said and she gave me a stunned look when I saw Seokjin oppa exit My office too.

"Forget it, she is going to meet her lover boy, she couldn't care less even about the president for all it matters" I rolled my eyes and the lift came.

As the floor travelled down to the ground floor from the top floor which was my office floor, I saw a lot of people in the hall.

They were here as the organisers for the doctor's conclave.

The standies were being placed to notify the exact location of the concerned hall.

"Taeri!" I heard my name.

Oh god, I have SOME GODDAMN IMPORTANT BUSINESS.

The chairman of the medical board or something came to me. "I just reached the hotel, I'm extremely grateful for providing us with the venue for no cost." The guy said and I smiled.

"It's my honour to have esteemed doctors of this nation gathered at my hotel. I feel extra safe about my health today" I faked a laugh and everyone chuckled too.

The men who stood behind the chairman smiled and laughed too.

He used to be our family doctor once, look at him succeed.

"And Seokjin, you've grown up well. You used to get unwell all the time back in the day"

Lmao. Not him opening the chits. Seokjin oppa laughed at cue.

"I hope you can make it to the event, you are invited too. At the end of the day, even as a business, you have a doctorate in psychology" he said and I smiled.

"Please have a nice time. I'll join if I am able to" I said and he smiled. Both of us bowed and then everyone followed.

I ignored Ava and Jin oppa before flying away with my car Outta there.
