"You could have dated anyone, but Taeri!? Really?"

I overheard the conversation, Na ri was close friends with my boyfriend. While I was managing the charity fest, I overheard them talking about me. I was on the other side of a huge partition, so they couldn't see me.

What hurt me was, it had been 10 minutes since she started bitching about me and my boyfriend did not utter a single word.

"Na ri, honestly speaking, she is an academic scholar, holds two senior positions in the council, she can go on the stage and no one will look at anything but her, her antagonist role in the play overshadowed the protagonist, she was the director of the same play, whe is nice to all the staff members and when she joined school I remember, everyone here used to be envious of her looks most importantly all of us know against her in a debate we don't stand a chance." su hyun, my boyfriend's best friend talked for me instead, he was a nice guy and he stood up for me. He says I am like his younger sister, I guess he wasn't lying. My boyfriend still said nothing and I heard a voice that I didn't expect.

"Su hyun is right, back biting is not the only problem here. The problem is the fact that Taeri doesn't deserve it. I have psychology with her and honestly she is very good at assignments and understanding concepts. There has never been a situation when she said no to help any of us and we often seek her for help in assignments, understanding topics or notes." JIMIN said that. Wow.

"If wasn't for her, I wouldn't be able to get a chance to dance on stage probably for the last time. I declared her as my dancing partner without seeking permission before hand and she went with it without complaining once. She was uncomfortable on stage dancing so close yet she did not once complain. She doens't deserve it" Jimin continued.

I gasped for air, why does he stand up for me when I'm dealing with a jerk just to be over him.

I moved out of there.

"Taeri noona?" My junior who was volunteering with me called me but I left from there.

I have to break up with him.

"Taeri!!" Su hyun called and I turned around to see all of them standing there. Su hyun, my boyfriend, Na ri, their friends and jimin. All of us there, they saw me since my junior called my name.

"It's okay, I'm used to it" I mumbled and left from there.

I'll break up tomorrow. I just need to go home and sleep on it first.

I took a deep, another feel breath and then once again. "Okay wait let's do it an hour later" I said and was about to turn around when jungkook grabbed collar from the back and pulled me to the front.

"You have already said that multiple times, now you are going to go in and take the microphone and speak like you always do. The stage is your comfort place, don't you dare be nervous" he said and I sighed again.

Both of us were outside the banquet room of Winston blue Land, the only luxury 5 star hotel under Winston blu. My dad used to run this and I decided this venue for the press conference.

Right now there are a hundred reporters, boards members inside along side my guests. I sent an invite to Taehyung which is probably still in front of door, to jimin which he recieved along with jiha's. Venessa is definitely inside the banquet, jungkook is beside me as my executive secretary.
