It has been 3 years since the incident. I sat still scrolling through Instagram. Taeri's Instagram account is dead. I saw her on the graduation day and last on her parents' funeral. It's her birthday today, everyone is wishing her and she is simply reposting the stories with empty words out of curtesy.

While on our graduation day four years ago, she acted normal bid us bye that's all. 3 years ago when I saw her on her parents' funeral she did not look good.

It was her birthday that day, nobody could celebrate it, she was in a shock. Rage, frustration, sadness which clouded her. The way she stood up for her brother was commendable though.

I don't get to hear about her from my sister though, she rarely talks about her. As her friend, I have been worried considering I never talked to her even though I was there when something so huge happened with her.

I switched off the phone and stopped thinking about her. She can handle herself and has people around I didn't have to care about her, I only got involved because of jiha that's all.

I was deep in thoughts when I got interrupted by a voice.

"Jimin" I looked up and it was Nari. She asked me to meet her in the cafe outside her department. I was studying pre med at hanyang University and she was studying Business management.

"Hey!!" I said and hugged her as she sat infront of me. She looked upset.

She has been weak since a few days and has immense mood swings.

"Jimin I need to tell you something" she said and put a pouch infront of me.

I looked at it and then at her. "What's the occasion, it's not even my birthday. A gift? For what?" I said and opened the packet only for my smile to fall.

"I'm 6 months pregnant, I found out day before yesterday. I thought I wasn't having periods because of pcos but I had morning sickness for a while so I got tested and-" her voice broke when she said that.

"We can't abort, it's too late" I mumbled and she burst out crying.

"It was my fault, I should have gotten tested at the earliest." She hid her face and started crying.

"Hey hey Na ri. Calm down. We will handle this. We will talk to your parents if they don't agree, you can move in with me. My sister is not home you can stay there or wait" I said and grabbed the can before pulling out the can ring tab and kneeling down to her.

"Let's get married"

There she was Lee Na ri. I was lying to myself when I believed I'll be sad to see her. I'm angry.

Enraged.

I felt a hand on my thigh and looked at it to see it was Taeri and then she looked at me with a smile.

"Eat" she said and pushed a piece of chicken in my mouth using her hands and proceeded to lick the sauce from her fingers.

What?

She had the sly smirk and then went back to eating, the hand on thigh still there.

I turned facing to the front. The whole restaurant saw that, it was pin drop silence. But someone decided to break the silence.

"Oh hey!! Na ri is here, come sit here" Angie said. I didn't even notice her here.

Na ri chuckled before she spoke. "Can I sit on that table" oh I'm so sure the table in context is this one.

"Oh-eh" there were whispers

"Hey you, Tia. Can I take your seat?" She asked someone on our table. She was confused and then she nodded.

She sat just in front of me. Face to face. She smiled at me and then at Taeri.

"I saw the news, you were gorgeous" Na ri said and Taeri smiled.

"I know right" she said with a glee and Na ri only smiled when she looked down.

"I'm so curious, who was the guy you were talking about?" She asked

What guy? It took me a minute before I realised she was talking about the confession she made.

Taeri finished her chicken and didn't answer.

"Who was the single father you are in love Taeri? I'm curious too?" She asked again with a smile.

There is one thing, except my close friends I kept in touch with after school no one else knows about Sarang.

Taeri also only knows because of Jungkook and the fact she is powerful and has access to any knowledge, that's all.

Taeri smiled. "Why are so interested in me?" She asks.

Na ri chuckled "You are interesting" she said with a sly smile. She is playing, this is what she does.

As opposed to other's believes, Taeri is extremely loyal and if she knows something about you, and others don't. She will take it to her grave.

But how could Nari do this when the child in question is her's too.

"Oh god, shut up Na ri. This is so disgusting" I snapped and stood up.

"I'm that single father" I said and grabbed Taeri's arm. "let's go" I said and she looked at me before she grabbed her purse.

Jungkook, ven and seomin got up too without another word and all of us walked out of the restaurant.

There were so many whispers.

I looked at Na Ri and she only looked angry. Her scoff was audible. "she basically had eyes on him since we were together, so desperat-" she couldn't complete.

There was a sharp sound and everyone went silent.

Ven has thrown a fork at her direction that landed right on her side. "I missed the shot" Ven said. One thing about her is, she has perfect aim. Taeri had a huge smile before she looked at me and left my hand.

She walked a few steps and had her wrist from the other hand behind her back. "Actually I had eyes on him since the 16th of April 2019. Since the last 14 years, since I was 14 myself, way before you started dating him. If you really cared about Jimin you would not force him in a situation where he had to marry your sister.

Heck, did you even see your dying sister. I blame her death on you.

But I don't resent you, I'm grateful you left him. I'm genuinely so desperately in love with him, I'll only love him and only him. I have dated a lot of guys in the 14 years, I studied in The states and in UK, I dated all kinds of guys and that's when I realise. I'll always be in love with Park Jimin he be mine or not. So yes I am definitely desperate and pathetic. Girl, I admitted that on national television that was also streamed internationally. I don't think that's a huge gossip." She said and rolled her eyes before she turned around to leave but stopped.

"Also" she said and turned around.

"Your daughter Sarang is a lovely girl. I love spoiling her" with that she left.
