The Liar And Her Love

chapter 07:

-Aug'2019-

It was taeri's 14th birthday, she was excited and was giggling all that time she walked to school. Her bag had chocolates, a lot of them. By the time she came to her class, she saw taehyung in casuals.

He had his usual bandana on, he walked past taeri. She felt weird, the only time they are in casuals is when they are out for a match. She saw jimin coming out of her classroom he smiled at her and walked past her joining his buddy, she was standing still exactly there when he walked back and came face to face with her, he flashed the prettiest smile and dug his hand in the box she was holding. "Happy birthday TAERI" he wished her and run away again. She stood there until there was a small smile on her face.

"Enjoy"

-Aug 2033-

Jimin looked to his left to see taeri, she had a huge smile on, she was the symbol of his youth, his teenage. Seeing her so youthful and successful makes him feel a little better.

She was placing the chopsticks and spoons for all of them. The smile she had when she passed it onto Sarang, he imagined how the night would go. Either he would have cried with Sarang or cried alone.

But here, he would have never guessed he would be eating with taeri at a chicken restaurant. He didn't expect them to actually have a smile not just cry. When it hit him.

"Taeri?" He hasked her and she hummed.

"When was your birthday?"

She was so non chalant about it when she responded. "Today", Ryan definitely knew he is her brother but what is with no reaction from him.

"TODAY!!?" He screamed in shock and all of them flinched, taeri turned to me with a suprised emotion. "What is wrong with you-?" She asks

"What is wrong with me? Taeri it's your birthday!!"

"Yeah, I know. I can't definitely forget the day I was born can I?" She was always calm but calm, wasn't she crazy about her birthday. That is all jimin could think.

"Did you cut a cake?"

"I was busy settling here, I cut a cupcake with Ryan if that counts" she said and concluded with that. "Just wait here alright" he said and left. Taeri sat there and just nodded. "Then I'll order something?" She asked and he screamed the response while running from there.

"Yes sure"

Taeri ordered a lot of chicken and while Ryan and Sarang were watching barbie charm school, taeri was eating a drumstick while looking around waiting for jimin to return. It was already 15 minutes and the bell on the door rang again. The place was less crowded now and the entrance bell was audible. Taeri didn't turn around she has turned around a lot of times and no one was there so she didn't turn around again.

The man has a small box, and a bunch of red and white popy flowers tied with a red ribbon on his one hand. Ryan enlarged his eyes when he looked up and so did Sarang.

"Appa!?"
"Hyung!?"

This is what made taeri turn her head around but when she did he was already in his seat, he extended his hands to her and she saw those flowers.

Poppy flowers of course.

She tilted her face to see a smile on his. "Happy birthday Taeri" he said and she kept looking at him until she grabbed the bunch and brought it closer. He sat next to her and put the box on the table. He opened the box, there were a few people there and everyone has turned around. Ryan put the chicken aside and cleared the centre of the table while jimin opened the box up and put the candles on them.

While taeri just looked at his face, her heartbeats at a umatched. He looked for a matchbox but taeri sighed and pulled a lighter out of her pocket. Both Ryan and jimin stared at her.

"I'm 28 today, stop with the weird reaction" she said and rolled her eyes and they decided not to react. He gave her a knife and she grabbed on it. Jimin held her hand above the knife and guided her for weird reasons. She blew off the candles and he left her hand, while she was cutting the cake the boys sung to her and Sarang clapped, the other in the restaurant joined in too for the same. The staff realised what's happening and stood in a line to sing to them.

Taeri had a smile on her, it was her best birthday. She stopped celebrating a while ago, and someone doing this for her was beautiful, she put the first bite in sarang's mouth who was happy, Ryan became a child and made a face when he didn't get once, she cut a piece for him who immediately got happy

She took a deep breathe before cutting another piece for jimin and extended her arm to feed him, he was taken back but when people cheered he took a bite and there was a round of applause.

"Owner, all the bills are on me" taeri said to the manger and everyone cheered except jimin whose eyes were wide open. "Dude-?" he whispered but taeri winked. "Jimin I'm rich af, the one who has more spends more" she says and wipes her mouth.

Jimin chuckled when he realised she hasn't changed much.
