Oct'27

It has been about 3 years since I finally felt freedom. I immediately returned back to the states after my dad's funeral and after I had my brother's legal guardianship.

I took over the position of the passive chairwoman and power rested on the CEO. I had to sign papers and approve projects on the advisory of my lawyer.

A whole law firm took care of my assets. Ryan was enrolled in a middle school here, he adjusted well.

Ven and Jungkook returned before me so at least I was able to adjust back better because of them.

Ryan was still apprehensive about the whole situation and he has finally started opening up again.

For the next 5 years until my 24th birthday I have to work for Black wings. Currently I'm 22, 2 more years to go. Am I really that smart? That people bind me in contracts to have me work for them?

If I was that smart why did my mom still hate me.

"She is so young" I heard whispers.

"So young to be a mother of a 15 year old"

I didn't bother correcting them, I stopped trying after a few weeks. I was at Ryan's school for his parent teacher meeting. In the few months I have realised, the only way to protect myself is with my money.

The more extravagant I am, the less people are likely to look down on me and my brother. I was sure Ryan would face bullying hence I spent money on him like water and taught him to be rude. People don't bully rich and rude kids.

"Ms.Seo" the teacher on the table called me and I walked to him.

I enrolled Ryan in a public school instead of a private one so he can be street smart as well. This is why I also meet a crowd that gossips about me all the time.

"Umm" The teacher looked suprised.

"You are-"

"I'm young, I know" I said and the teachers laughed. "I'm sorry to be rude" he said and I smiled.

"It's okay, I'm his sister. We lost our parents recently and I'm his guardian" I said and he nodded with a sigh.

"So that was it" he said.

"What"

"Well, Ryan is extremely smart, even though he doesn't answer in class when we ask him something he knows how to answer it. He is good at sports too and we have genuinely no complaints from him except that he has issues with mixing up. He is particularly hostile to older woman"

Not suprised, I tried to put him in therapy and that smart ass put a condition.

He'll go to therapy if I do.

"I know it must be hard raising your brother but I believe he needs therapy. There are many funds-"

"It's okay, I understand. I'm a Psychology student. You don't need to convince me to put him in therapy and money is the only thing that's not an issue" I said and looked at him.

I think, It has been enough.
Both of us are going to therapy.

"Anything else?" I asks and he shook his head. With that I got up and left.
