The Liar And Her Love

- December 2019-

"There has been an emergence of a new virus which has known to be fatal, the first victim had been found to be from Wuhan, China. The WHO has yet to respond on the increasing number of cases and it's vaccination as well as treatment. That was for the morning news, the temperature is increasing, wear warmer clothes, it's expected to snow tonight. stay safe" taeri speaks on the speaker and switches off the mic in the broadcasting station.

She was asked to read today's newspaper since the original reader was ill. Everyone clapped when she stepped out of the room. She bowed and left, she smiled how she genuinely liked it. When she stepped out of the room in the hallway she bumped into a girl.

"Oh hey ji ha" she wishes her and jiha gives her an annoyed look. Jiha doesn't respond and leaves.

Meanwhile taeri sighs. "She comes to school once a month, and still doesn't smile at all. I doubt I can actually befriend jimin's sister." She says and leaves.

Walking back to her classroom she sees jiha sleep in the classroom, she dozed off in the class as soon as she entered. Jiha was from her class unlike jimin.

The teacher closely followed and smiled at taeri. "Good job taeri" she said and everyone else cheered too. The teacher's eyes fall on jiha. "The brother is a genuis while the sister doesn't want to attend school. I'm not sure why does the principal allow this. She should be suspended" the teacher mumbled and Taeri heard it all.

She too always wondered, what connection did an orphan had with the principal to be able to come and go as she wished. Mr. Jeon suho, the principal, her best friend's dad. She was close to him but neither did she nor did his own son get to hear anything from him

She went back and proceeded by with her day anyway.

The whole day had passed and she was standing outside the sports academy waiting for her driver to come and pick her up. It was getting chilly suddenly she felt someone come stand next to her, she turned to her left and saw jimin.

"Do you have a phone?" He asks and Taeri nodded.

"Yeah, here" she gave him her phone and he dialed a number but no one picked up the call. He tried once again but dejected he returned the phone back.

"Are you waiting for someone?" She asks.

"Yes, I asked taehyung for a match today, he stood me up and now I'm standing here in the cold" he says and Taeri chuckled.

"Your home is literally 2 minutes away from the academy, just go home" she said and jimin looked at her, the muffler on his face covered half of his face. He took the muffler off and put it around her. She was totally flustered.

She looked at her and smiled "the temperature is increasing, wear warmer clothes, it's expected to snow tonight. stay safe" he said and taeri couldn't understand.

"Huh?" The reaction made jimin chukle.

"You said that in the morning assembly, practice what you preach and stay warm" he said and threw a smile at her, her cheeks were blushing when he jogged away. While looking at him run, she felt something cold and realised it has started snowing.

Jimin too paused and turned around to look at her. He did some actions and she understand he is asking to cover her head, when she did he smiled threw a thumbs-up and ran away.
